Guilty as charged.

Your “lat spread” is more odd though.

If some guy was flexing his 13 in arms in his avatar what would you think? No too mention you’re posing wrong.
I wouldn’t want a video of me squatting only as much as I bench. Kinda weak

Whats wrong with the “1,000lb Club”??? Its not crazy strength but thats not really something to scoff at (I know his squat was high and that DL definitely wasnt locked out… but if it was a legit 1,000+ lbs that wouldnt be a super weak)[/quote]
Agreed, I think we (T-Nation regulars) take this kind of strength for granted because we live it. Most of us clear 1000 pretty easily but to the regular gym goer 1k is crazy weight and to the general population it’s the roidz.

I’d be willing to bet that there are probably a good amount of posters (and regulars here) that couldnt put up a legit 1,000lb total (excluding probably most people in the PL forum lol)
but yeah 1,000lb club is something most gym goes probably will never reach (but we arent really comparing ourselves to regular gym goers and I know that)

If I cared what you thought, thought your physique was impressive(I don’t), or had actually practiced posing for anything besides progress pictures, I think seriously about what you said. However I don’t, and I have better things to do than respond to you. So in short, grow up, I don’t care what you think.

I’m damn close to that club without including my pitifully embarrassing BB bench.
Well, gym lifts that is.
I thought that 300/400/500 was the standard. If so, it points out where the lifts are weak on these guys.
those guys both had ridiculously low squats, and shitty deadlifts.

Standard? for who?

hahaha I bet there are quite a few guys in the 1,000 lb club with only two lifts… but I was saying that I bet there are quite a few guys on this site that arent in the “club” yet.
what do you think?

Thats a pretty good strength goal don’t you think? I’m not there on the DL though… my DL has always been pretty weak and I dont train DL very heavy anymore. I’ve got a L4/L5 issue from when I was in the military that acts up when I DL ‘heavy’.

ah… You might be right.
None of you beginners or injured guys should get down on yourself either. That isn’t what we’re saying.
I love the gloves…they match his shorts, hat and shirt. This man can accessorize.

There’s nothing wrong with it if your goal is just to go the gym and get in shape. You’ll probably end up in that neighborhood. But if you actually take this stuff seriously, it’s not something I’d call a milestone to brag about. I’m not trying to be judgemental and if someone posted a progress video early on in their training, that’s cool. But if you’re not injured and can’t total 1,000 lbs by your 1st year of training, you’re doing something wrong IMO.

This what I would consider a milestone and where beginner ends and intermediate starts. Actually, any one of this lifts alone would be a milestone. 300 bench, 400 squat or a 500 deadlift. Even a 400lb deadlift would be legit if you hit it in your 1st 6 months which is what I’d consider a reasonable goal. But if your talking about a combined total, these would be the 1st milestone IMO. Not 1000 lbs.

WOW his twinkle toe deadlift is legendary
where did these 1000lb club videos come from? They all bench deadlift squat instead of squat bench deadlift. all hitch their deadlifts and all do 1/4 squats. At my raw powerlifting meet I am hoping to get in the 1,000lb club with my squat and deadlift.
The saddest thing is they all out bench me, wtf is wrong with me?

Jesus Christ that deadlift was tough to watch. Was he trying to do that on one leg?
