100 Pushups in One Set

I can’t tell if you guys are arguing or not, but just in case, let’s lay some ground rules:

1)Nobody gives a dead rat’s shit what you could do once upon a time.

2)If you say you can do something now then post a damn video. That way we can all tell you that your form sucks and that nothing you did counts for anything.

One arm chins?..that’s cool
who here can do 100 clean, back lever curls?

Dude, it’s a joke.

But fine, I’ll indulge you:

handstand pushups - at ~75kg I did many low rep sets.
Later my setup incorporated a small cushion under the head -a setup I recommend- and shooting for higher reps ~10 at 3 or 4 sets coupled with other exercises.

My ellbows were shot at that point, because of bad form (flaring ellbows) and because I was chasing the one-arm chinup.
Note that there’s a big difference between free HSPU and feet against the wall pushups. I did mostly a compromise, trying to achieve proper balance with the wall in case I fall over. That doesn’t really work since there should be a choice wether to go for reps or form.

If I’ll incorporate HSPU again I’ll start learning a proper hs.
Also, deadstart hspus are notoriously more difficult. If you count these as true hspus then my best was 2 reps.

Muscleups - never did them when I had a good bodyweight for callisthenics. At ~88kgs I finally wanted to learn muscleups, in part because some guys on T-Nation raved about them. I managed one with ugly form, curiously enough only when abandoning all technique (“just end up in that position!”) and then occasionally did singles before a pullup-focused training. Going for more then one was too brutal on my joints or left my too weak for chinning, probably because my technique with the mu is virtually nonexistant.
I’d like to focus on them one day. It’s undoubtebly a good exercise.

I’m good with dips. They injured me at least twice, so I tend to be careful with them.
50 dips, I belive, was my pb, but I don’t go extremely low.
In my opinion, dip reps are like pushups reps, nothing to brag about, since they are extremely form dependant with no means or reason to measure them objectivly and after about a minute essentially a feat of endurance.

lol

great fucking thread

glad i could contribute

space marine cock pushups?..that’s cool
who here can do 100 clean, slut slamming cock thrusts?

I’ve seen very few guys actually perform 100 solid push ups in a row. In fact, I’ve seen none yet a lot of guys claim to. The guys who came close to it were also the lightest guys.

147 dips. This guy might be able to do 100 consecutive, strict push ups. He’s not very strong and the breaks between dips really help him.

Damn straight i could…

I am listening to Dvorak’s “New World Symphony” while reading this thread and it made all of the one upmanship much more epic.

Can do pushups or press, but can barely unrack bar on bench without extreme pain.
