I didn’t time it, no. I reckon somewhere around the 20-25min mark, based purely on when I went out to the garage and came back in. Big margin for error there.
I have many, many words to describe how awful that was but I’m just going to straight out say 80kg was too heavy for me and leave it at that.
Edit: actually, I’m not. Fuck it, I’m proud of that. Worked my balls off there so I’m going to bask in the glow a little bit. Or I will when this headache wears off.
Giant set (5 rounds):
10 x TBDL (115kg)
10 dips
10 rows (60kg)
Notes:
Just did absolute programmed essentials today, was not feeling it at all.
Did squat jumps instead of broad jumps today because it was like a monsoon outside. Not quite the same stimulus I don’t think, but I’ll live with that.
Push Press improved, I think. 20 reps was definitely an ambitious aim, not a bad goal to have in the back of my head though.
Giant set sucked, obviously. Dips are feeling smoother and smoother though, really enjoying how those are progressing.
Cheated nutrition after this. Used whole milk instead of semi skimmed, so I’m expecting Layne Norton to come knocking on my door later to ask me what the fuck is going on.
I dunno, that Juarez thingy you did up there looked like it would suck. I prefer my front squats to be light and very comfortable, and also absent from my training.
If you two old boomers (I’ve recently been called a boomer because I can’t keep up with my classmates lingo, so I’m going with that) had a YouTube channel consisting of videos of the two of you sitting in arm chairs next to a fire place just to exchange low key insults, I would absolutely watch it.
Just wanted you to know that, @dagill2@Cyrrex. .
It did. A lot. I’m trying to do more things that I avoid because they suck, like running and front squats. Haven’t quite cracked the abs or curls thing yet though.
@Koestrizer get my agent on the phone, we’ve got a program to make.
