Looking solid man. Make sure you ‘puff up’ and grin a lot onstage. I’ve heard MPD competitors discuss how the judge’s will give the nod to one guy over another due to their presentation.

another…

to answer the previous question, im 5"7.5 and at my lowest i was down to around 165.

Congrads! How did you do over all? What did you learn about your strong and weak points?

Being my first show, i entered the novice division and came in second place out of 6 guys.

i treat everything as a weak point, whatever im currently training that day, is a weak point.

This is a physique competition I take it? Looking good. I don’t know much about physique judging/aesthetics, but the calves look under developed while your quads and entire back look awesome.

Yes Physique.

Dangles, 100 percent agree on the calves. its something i definitely need to work on, either more or less… that’s the tricky part. ill probably do twice a week and see what that gets me for a while. Next show in June.

Upper body is solid and well-proportioned.

Calves and hams stick out as weak points, i know its physique, just saying

audiogarden, thanks for your feed back. Working on these in the off season.

You look great. Just keep putting in the work. I actually think your calves look fine. I know a guy who just turned IFBB pro and didn’t have great calves. Just keep focused put the work in the gym and have your diet on point. Make the gains during your off season. Right after your contest is the best time to make gains (5-6 weeks) unless you have a contest coming up right after it.

truthandlife, i appreciate that. And yes i plan on making some great gains in the off season! Not another contest until June… actually prepping for a photoshoot on Wednesday, then ill officially start off season mode.

Honestly his hamstrings we have no idea how they look, that shot behind doesn’t really show much and even then it would be useful if he was peeled to the bone. He needs to do side bicep pose in order for us to actually see how his hamstrings are.

solid m8

I dont agree with that at all.

At a relatively good level of leanness, hamstrings can be assessed pretty well from the rear in my opinion, just as they can from the side. You dont have to be in contest shape to tell if a guy has decent hamstrings from the rear.
