Hey i was wondering if this program really works or will it just make you overtrain. I thought that you can’t train over 90% for more then 3 weeks and this program has you doing it for 6 weeks. Can someone please help.
I tried 1-6 wave training for about 3 weeks and seemed to make good gains. I too would like to know what others’ experience has been. After doing the sub-max single, the next set of 6 reps did indeed feel lighter - I don’t know if it was just a “psychological” effect or there really is a physilogical increase in strength/edurance.
I used the 4/1/4/1 program as outlined in bring the pain. I have gotten great results. much better than 6/1.
Most people screw up on this program because they do the “1” as a max single and that’s incorrect. King has always explained this better than Poliquin.
