Zombie Lovers Unite!

That quote about how dumb the scientist thought it was for our entire society to run on fossil fuels should be quote of the year.

Well they did put the CDC in Atlanta so it’s not like they have a lot of alternate energy options. If the CDC was headquartered in say middle of nowhere Nevada then 50 acres could be easily dedicated for a solar farm. Possibly a wind farm too, though I think wind farms are just used along coastal regions.

Actually they have wind farms in Perryton Tx where I grew up, so it should be possible to put some in Nevada.

Anyone else think it was weird that underground CDC center only has emergency backup generators running on dino fuel? And barely enough fuel to last one guy conserving it for two months. I could understand if it was a regular building but they took the time to build labs, offices and living quarters underground. I would think that there would be enough food, water and energy reserves to last for years for a full staff. I fully expect a Nuclear reactor powering the place. Though in any good zombie apocalypse movie, no shelter can provide safety for too long.

This is why we would be so Fcked. Does anyone remember a couple episodes back when he got his guns and was leaving town he stoped at this crawling legless zombie that was still moving trying to get to anything to chomp on. Well that to me was the scariest sht of all.

These THINGS don’t stop. They don’t rest. They sense something start moving and keep moving towards it. Now this is not just a couple of humans that have turned into these things but the MAJORITY of the human race is like this. Make to much noise and the will come, To much light here they come. Think of a couple thousand of these things headed your way tens of thousands. You can’t kill them all bullets as many as you may have will run out.

Best options just IMO would be a place near fresh water or a fresh water supply And I’m guessing its times to make friends and make them fast. Because not everyone will trust us on sight and if we have a good set up it has to be protected from more than just the zombies. Oh and no one better get sick or be sick and I’m not talking zombie sick becuase I aint got no medicine for ya.

I need a Buthcher/Hunter…A Doc (Hell give me the prof from Gilligans Island). Hell a farmer and anyone that has good construction skills beggers can’t be picky though. So give hell give me some good guys that wont kill me when the lights go out for more than 20 min…DAMNIT here comes winter Now were really f*ucked…can’t wait for next season.

^^the problem with holding up near fresh water is the old saying “waterways are highways.” everyone and everything needs fresh water. A fresh water supply might as well be a flashing neon sign saying “COME HERE! COME HERE!” lol You’ll get lots of other people and if not you’ll get lots of animals… either way you’re attracting food to you which will attract zombies. Just something to think about.

The best situation to be in would be if you could survive till most of the earths population is wiped out (like zombie land or I am legend) where you wouldnt have to deal with as many other survivors who would be way more ruthless than zombies (cause they’d be smarter)

its funny cause the other day I was walking through the park with my girlfriend. It was nighttime and we were at this christmas festival thing so there were tons of people around. I looked at her and said “quick! A zombie outbreak just happened. What do you do!?!” lol It was awesome. I’m usually sizing up scenes and scenarios when out and about… but this time it was for zombies

Okay that is funny because you are rachet.

Water was not what I was thinking about, FOOD. Growing food is a full time job, hence FARMERS. So scavaging for food is going to be the only means for a time. So back to the isolation, less people and having to travel 10 miles to the next house in west texas to ransack there pantry could be a bitch.
To make things worse the American farm is dedicated to growing in a seasonal mono-culture style. The Texas Panhandle is great place to farm, but it’s going to be large tracts of land of one type of crop. That crop will have to be harvested at a specific time to be of use, and will probably have a minimal chance to self propagate without human assistance. If you know where to look you can find federally mandated sections that are required to remain as wild/natural prairie. There you should find lots of seed plants and legumes. It may not be the most appetizing but it would keep you from starving. Plus there should be plenty of rodents, predatory birds and some snakes to eat.
Agreed and I would not want to be in Louisina that to me would just seem like Zombie heaven.

That’s part of the story I’m looking forward to seeing how the writers have him handle, I mean it’s the end of the world and you think you’ll never see your family again, only to get to them and find out your wife is banging your best friend who saved your family, and said best friend is still trying to bang your wife with you back in the picture. What to do, what to do.

season finale was so lame…and kill the Black chick, huh?

Well in that case the real question is What MUST you do. This Fcker has just proven he is a Liar and is losing control of his emotions. Now if this was something like Desperate Housewives
send them all to thearpy and be done with it. But Like you said this is the end of the world. I’m not thinking about betrayed as much as I’m worried about this f
cker killing me in my sleep. How can I trust this guy now to have my back.

I mean do we put it to a group vote and whoever the skank picks stays and the other walks off alone. Or do I just claim caveman law and kill this guy so I can close my eyes at night (well slant them gotta keep something open for the zombies.

I would rather have my girl with my best friend. At least she’d be in similar situations because my best boy is practically the same as I am.
