Guilty as charged.
I was… that would have been awesome.

SPOILER ALERT:
Why the fuck did he cut off his own hand? Why didnt he cut the cuffs, the beam that the cuffs were attached to, or either one of the beams that the bar was attached to? ANSWER TO MY OWN QUESTION: “cause it makes for a better show” I know… I know… but still!
Yeah that bugged me too.
I guess Im a bit of a “realist” when it comes to some things (hard to apply being a realist to zombie movies lol) but yeah… It bugs me when a car gets in an accident and then it explodes from the leaking gas. Or when people hide behind a car in a shoot out and the car stops the bullets lol… that sort of stuff bugs me a little.

But I LOVE zombie movies. This show is awesome. I was a zombie two years ago for halloween and it was sick! I wish my makeup was as good as the guys in this show though. They were all over gaslamp down in San Diego for ComicCon promoting the show… so creepy and awesome looking

Perhaps he felt a certain sense of urgency and was in a somewhat confused state being trapped on a concrete roof in Atlanta without any water?

Plus, he was no genius to begin with.

Sort of the situation faced by this guy: (fast forward to 2:14 to hear Mel’s spiel)

Seriously, with a bunch of zombies trying to batter a door down, trying to kill & eat you? Rooker had a tough choice to make.

Or rather, the shot of the severed hand makes for better tv…

Here’s a working megavideo to the 3rd episode.

then exit the link it opens

then click the play button again (green)

As posted earlier, this is a pretty awesome show. I’m passing my time in between walking dead episodes with this.
To be honest, I’m enjoying this fast-paced, innuendo-filled gore spectacle (they’re also doing a great job portraying the decay of human values and lots of catch-22 situations) more than the tale of the walking whore right now…

Seriously? You’d never be able to cut those cuffs or that thick pipe with that piece of shit hack-saw.

Cut off your hand a hell of a lot quicker. Plus, he did not know that the door was chained, and probably thought he had very little time before the zombies got through.

Great show. It came at just the right time too, right when Sons of Anarchy is in mid-air over the shark.

Yeah it’s an outstanding show…Andrew Lincoln’s a damn fine actor, does the accent really well considering he’s from Manchester. Can’t wait for episode 4!

Anyone else disapointed upset that last episode the announcer said only 3 episodes remaining? That’s like getting a massager and only getting half a happy ending
I read that they AMC ordered a 2nd season with 12? or 13 episodes

I’m trying to figure out ok Rooker cut his hand off, and then what? the door was still locked
was there another way to escape the roof?

this show is so great, I watched it instead of my patriots destroying the steelers

Possible jump to another roof? it is Atlanta skyscrapers and the like? Suspension of belief and all don’t you know

Half of the actors in this are from The Mist.

didn’t notice that. I was half tempted to watch that movie today being home sick. Decided on I Am Legend though, since it was just me and my dog

The Mist has a pretty fucked up ending. He shoots his family only to find out that the military has the situation under control by now.

I was dissapoint in I am legend.
The zombies looked like they were animated from some 1999’s movie and the fact that they could jump through walls without even being bruised was a bit over the top…

The Mist was a great movie besides the predictable kill the people in the car only for rescue to be right there.

I Am Legend was great as well, not many actors other than Will Smith could have pulled that off. The ending sucked IMO, but I think it might have one of the saddest moments in a movie ever (having to choke his dog) and most intense scenes ever (when he had to go into the bank to find the dog)

The Mist was on tv this weekend and I caught a bit of it and noticed the same thing. I really liked I am Legend too but hated the ending.

Thanks a lot assholes… Couldn’t throw a little spoiler alert in there before you go ahead and tell the ending of a movie?!? You friggin jerks…

Good thing I’ve already seen it
