Zoltan! (Training Log)

Week 6
workout 1

cardio… was so hard after pushing my workout, my HR was already 149 when i started walking on the treadmill, so i ended up mostly just walking, with about 5 min of joggin (HR 179 after)

feeling pretty pumped about 315x3, the first 2 reps on every set felt really good. the third was slow, but i’m sure i could have ground out a few more.

This pic made me laugh my ass off.

awesome! its been a bit of an adjustment to more quad centric, but i’m going to stick with it and see where it takes me. (if my squat doesn’t get bigger i’m sure my quads will)

really been burnt out from the cardio lately, so i took yesterday off.

think i’m going to lessen the work load so i can get my cardio up to par, kind of been dicking around with it for 7 weeks and not really making much progress cardio wise. I will probably drop most of the assistance work and keep doing the main workout with cardio… maybe a few curls here and there haha.

So since you live in BC does that mean you get to see mountain goats and stuff all the time??

well i probably would if i got out more! haha.

actually there used to be a herd of California mountain sheep that lived behind my mothers house, but i think they’ve moved on.

Since you live in edmonton does that mean you get to see… ummm… edmonton stuff all the time?

:open_mouth: Are you a hermit like me?!! :D:D

California mountain sheep?? WHy are they in BC if they are california-ish?

I can see the high level bridge and west edmonton mall anytime I want, which is never cause I don’t care about those things.
The high level bridge terrifies me and i hate west edmonton mall.

Have you ever been to yoho national park? I went there as a youngin’ and it was wonderful.

haha yes. I would prefer not being a hermit, but i have this tendency to stick to what i’m best at

(or in the case of weightlifting stick to it cause i’ve nothing else to do)

Hum i’m not sure why with the sheep, Maybe they migrated? or were imported? or perhaps the person to name them was from california?

No i’ve never been to yoho national park… where is it? I’ve driven through banf a couple of times… I really should get out more. Maybe when the weather is hotter then i can go on my motorbike!

Going to vancouver for a few days, won’t be checkin in.

How was vancouver ?! DId you go to the aquariaum or however you spell that word.

Aquairium

Aquarium

.

Did you see the manatee’s? They have manatee’s there.

AND being anti-social has it’s plusses. HAH that word looks weird, plusses.

I always get to bed on time cause I’m never out with “people”.
I also don’t get in arguments or anything cause I have no friends HAHAHHA

Hey spockfriend! no i didn’t go to the aquarium… infact i didn’t make it entirely into vancouver at all  most of my friends down there live in the outskirts of town so that is where i spent most of my time.

haha, well i suppose those are some slight advantages to hermitism.

today at gym:
bench press, 45x8,95x8,145x5,195x5
jefferson lift, 130x4,200x4,270x4 (these were interesting, first time doing them)
chins 4,4 (felt quite weak today)
BTN pulldown 90 x 12,12
barbell curls 45 x 20,15,15
reverse curls 45 x 15

cardio. 30 mins

yesterday gym

bench 45x5,95x5,145x5,195x5,5,5
deadlift 135x5,185x5,225x5,275x5,315x3,365xfail,365xfail,365x1
chins 6,6,5
abs,
biceps curls 45x15,25,22,15
cardio, 1hr

didn’t even log this yesterday cause i was pissed.

was doing deadlifts and couldn’t even do what i would call a ‘routine’ weight for a triple, well i couldn’t even do it for a single… not until the third try anyways. Not sure if its cause i took a week off, or the diet, or the cardio, or cause of the oly lifting shoes, or just cause i didn’t do deads first in my workout like i normally do. anyways i’m going to do them again today, and i’m going to SMASH them.

todays session was awesome, couple of rep PR’s

deadlift, 135x5,225x5,275x3,315x3,365x3,405x3(rep PR)
bench press, 45x8,95x8,145x5,205x5,215x7(rep PR)

Bicep curls 50x22,12,20,18
leg curls 40x20,16
