So I’ve been reading into sleeping recently, and I ended up crossing into mentions of ZMA. I then did some research on the supplement and it seems to be good stuff, however, I want to hear it from actual people who use it or have used it and what their experiences are. If positive, which ZMA product would you recommend? Thanks!
Have you searched the forum for this topic? Or read the thread regarding Biotest’s ZMA?
It’s cheap, effective and high-quality. What more can you say?
USE IT!
ive had trouble sleeping my whole life.
IVE been using ZMA for a couple months, best 9 bucks i spend a month. nice deep sleep…

Biotest’s is cheap and good. For a quarter and a dime, I get the best supplement I have ever taken. The zma helps me sleep, helps me remeber my dreams, and I have rock hard morning erections (unfortunately). ZMA isn’t bad for you other bodily systems. I hope ZMA comes back in stock soon.

I checked it out and it was sold out, but I guess it really doesn’t matter, as ZMA is ZMA.
ZMA is great stuff. I definitely fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. Sometimes it’s difficult to get up though, but that may have something to do with my hot girlfriend being in bed with me… lol
I notice that I remember my vivid dreams for the first week taking it, then it mellows out, but if I skip a day, then BOOM crazy dreams again. I love dreaming.
The only thing I don’t like about ZMA is that you should avoid dairy when taking it, and I really like my cottage cheese before bed (for catabolism)
How soon does it take to feel it’s recovery/sleep effects? Like, is it something that I’ll notice almost immediately or is it a supplement that I have to take for a while to gradually feel results?

my bad I didnt check… this is why I keep 3 months supply stocked at all times, because I had this problem before…
works good to add a bottle to an order to push it just over that 150 mark

It works within a half hour of taking it.
It’s not like a sleeping pill or anything, it won’t MAKE you sleep, but it helps to put you in a deeper sleep faster and maintain it longer. Having just ran out, it’s clear that I’m taking longer to fall asleep, and I find myself waking up throughout the night as well.

In terms of its recovery effects and its positive improvement on testosterone levels, that is more like a few months, but it works well with sleep the first time you try it.
I actually use it during the day since I found the dreams a little TOO intense for me at night. lol And during the day, there is no issue with feeling groggy or anything. It’s just a great, cheap supplement.
I definitely sleep much better when I take ZMA.

TAke it around 45 minutes to an hour before you go to bed and have your cottage cheese just before.
thats the way I do it.
For anyone that currently uses ZMA, have you ever tried melatonin? I’ve had difficulties sleeping for a long time and although melatonin helps me fall asleep faster and stay asleep, it leaves me very tired in the morning. I be interested in seeing how ZMA compares.
Also, does everyone agree that while taking ZMA, you always remember your dreams? I often have rather intense nightmares or just plain bizarre dreams and don’t particularly enjoy remembering them. If I can pretty much count on ZMA making the dreams even more vivid, I won’t bother trying it out

I kept waking up the first night I took it, maybe it was dreams? But since then, it has been wonderful for me. I highly recomend ZMA.

The sleep aid alone is reason enough for me to get it. I can’t remember the last time I had a deep, undisturbed sleep. Half the time I’m still cognisant enough to hear myself think.
And thanks for the replies guys! I’m going to go buy myself some later today!
Sorry to hijack the thread… didn’t want to waste space with another thread.
I got myself some ZMA a few weeks ago and started taking it. After a few days I noticed deeper sleep and I woke up feeling refreshed.
…but I also started getting acne. Has anybody else heard of or experienced this? I stopped taking the ZMA to see if the acne cleared and it did, but I’d really like to start taking it again. I am guessing (but hoping it isn’t true) that ZMA was the cause…
— That may be because of an increase in T Levels. Depending on how long you’ve been taking ZMA, that is very possible. It usually takes ZMA about a month or so to set in and start giving T-Level help
ZMA is awesome. I began using it a little while ago. I wake up feeling refreshed and indeed do have crazy-vivid dreams. I noticed an increase in test levels for me…y’know, waking up with wood…getting wood from just thinking about something arousing…
of course, you have difficulty getting rid of it at work which can be inconvinient lol. It may be a placebo, but I feel more confident and agressive but not asshole-level agressive.
i am now interested in this as i love my sleep… but i have to wake up at at least 6:30am for school, but sometimes i can get only 6-7 hours of sleep, and other times 9 hours depending on when i go to bed. So, if i take ZMA, will it help me feel like i get more sleep in the amount of time i slept (like 6-7 hours), or would i wake up feeling completely tired? Thanks…
