July 11st, W2D5 Recovery Day
Assignments for the day:

work on the chemistry project I started
For chemistry project, I am currently washing the (hopefully) calcium Carbonate. due to calcium salts not liking to filter, I just mix with water, let it settle, and decant the liquid through a filter to catch a little if any. I keep the liquid because I can get sodium sulfate (if the reaction worked) from it.
After it was sitting over night, the pH was 12 (very alkaline). After washing 3 times, its down to 8. I will keep washing it until it gets to neutral (7). Then I will wash it a final time to make sure its clean, and then dry it out. Il then weigh the product, and see what the yield is. I will then dissolve the calcium Carbonate into vinegar to make Calcium Acetate. If it doesnāt all dissolve thatās fine. If it does dissolve then that means I successfully have made calcium Carbonate, as neither of the sulfates react with vinegar (due to vinegar being weaker than the sulfate group), and the sodium carbonate had been all washed out. I hope it works. it looks the same but thatās to be expected since both calcium-based molecules are insoluble in water.
At the start of the year, I set a goal of earning and saving 1000 dollars. I think by the end of the year, I might just reach that. I donāt know how much money I have saved up, but its atleast a few hundred from working for my brother, mowing lawn, etc. I think I will reach that goal. Im currently saving all the money I make over the summer to see how much I make. Only on August 17th will I check how much money I earned.
I might be able to start mowing another neighbors lawn for money, and I might be able to make another little bit from them with my mom pulling vines out of their bushes. This is good.

Chemistry project is going well. Iām currently drying out the powder. Should take a few days depending on the heat.

Canāt use treadmill. I want to run, but my shoes are really not good. They give blisters on my feet and theyre really wearing out. What other form of cardio can i do for 40 minutes for this?
Would riding my bike outside a bunch work?
Jump rope although 40 minutes would be far too much.
Shadow box. 3 minutes rounds with 60 seconds rest.
I rode bike for 40 minutes. Pretty easy, running is better since it would have been more challenging.

Does anyone know of/remember Schwanās? It was a food delivery service that went away a little while ago. I miss it. We need to find a way to bring it back. I want my fudgamasicles! (and other good stuff they had like cones, apple dumplings, chicken tenders)

Jul 13nd, W2D7 Rest day
Weight: 155.5 lbs (most of it is water weight though, I actually think I look a little bit leaner)
Yippee! 2 weeks down. 3 more weeks until I can lift a bit, and 8 until i get to follow operator+black. Im excited.
Didnāt sleep through the night, probably because i ate a good amount of food before bed, and was on chromebook right before. Slept in til about 8:30 today. I always hate doing it i feel like ive wasted so much of the day. Oh well
