Anything from Sepultura is OK in my book
I dunno bout you guys but do you not find that having music in your ears takes away from your awareness???
I tend to be way more in turn with my body when not wearing earphones. Thats y i dont wear earphones…
However, i absolutley love music coming from speakers, unfortunately my gym doesnt work that way (music is low,and its just a general music channel), my dream would be that my gym blasted out hardcore metal!!! Id cream myself.

I put my player in my pocket and run the chord under my shirt so it’s not in the way. I also have good earbuds that stay in place. No problems for me.
lifting: Rise against, minor threat, dillinger escape plan, the distillers, flogging molly, dropkick murphys.
Cardio: I go for softer stuff with a steady beat. Lately it’s been live sets from DJ Tiesto.

Hell yes! Props for bringing up Ween! In teh gym though??
SLAYER. Only music to lift to. Sometimes I listen to Pantera or Down on light days.
OT- I have listened to Slayer while working out for so long, I remember wearing out cassette tapes of Seasons in the Abyss. I listened to it just last night at the gym on my Sansa. It’s very compact, I’ll see if I can post a pic of it later tonight.

tiesto is the man. he has such epic sets. i like the magic and in search of sunrise stuff the most. if i wasn’t listening to my heart rate monitor during cardio, this would be it.
generally i listen to metal, but for really hard sets i’ll crank the berzerker or anaal nathrakh. that shit shuts off your brain and makes your heart skip beats!
