Your Thoughts on CEE?

I’ve been a creatine mono user for a long time now. Recently though, I’ve heard a lot of talk about CEE. Of course, before I tried it out… I came to you guys. To those of you who have experience with it, do you like it better than mono?

Also, what is a good cheap brand?

This doesn’t apply to you, but I had no success with creatine mono so decided to try CEE (fell for marketing that said it would work if mono didn’t). Well, it didn’t work.

It’s theoretically possible for people to experience fewer positive effects with regular CM, if they don’t pay attention to dissolving it.

CEE dissolves far better, but I don’t think it will change the world.

At ~30 cents per serving, it’s cheap enough for people to try for a few weeks, but I don’t know of any specific brand names that sell for that cheap.

Despite the horrid taste, mild liver toxicity, and higher price, CEE is likely no worse (in terms of effects) than regular CM.

Good luck!

LOL,

So Dave I think we are on the same page. Let me get this straight.

So with CEE you are pretty much taking a simple and effective compound. Making it taste like crap, making it somewhat toxic (and I will add very acidic, I have read about it eating through peoples spoons they left in the container), and then due to the fact you screwed up a perfectly good substnce you charge more for it. Oh and it Might work as well as the original that doesnt have the new problems.

Man where can I get some sign me up.

Stick with the Monohydrate, get micronized if is Handy.

Not only that but someone analzed a number of brand’s of CEE for sale, and most did not really contain (much) CEE. Of course if he published that he’d get his ass sued.

Yeah Philll, you’re on track. But don’t forget that it dissolves better. LOL

I second the acidic thing; it leaves a feeling in my mouth like I just drank a Coke. I have my Surge right after, which either buffers or washes away the acid.

Cheers

What? liver toxicity?

JSB, yeah it’s something that Cy actually alerted me to. Apparently it’s mild, but something you want to be aware of.

Well, I bought some CEE in bulk awhile ago. I agree that it’s not really particularly superior to monohydrate. But no worse. This is the first I’ve heard of liver toxicity. Do you think it’s really something to be concerned about? I don’t really want to dump the rest and throw my money down the drain needlessly. I’m not taking any other supplements that should impact liver function as far as I know (just ZMA and Carbolin 19 to later be replaced with HOT-ROX). thanks

I said that? The ethyl ester will yield some ethanol but in such a small quantity, I doubt it would be associated with any toxicity. In those that have liver damage or impaired hepatic function, however, it could be a potential problem.

Ok-good. I won’t worry about it too much then.
