Obama’s home town, the schools are failing and people are dying in the streets.

I live there…here’ what the media doesn’t show you because I worked for a delivery service working SMACK DAB
in the Middle of the area there from Around 51st St. ALL the way down to around past 137th for awhile.
The Gang bangers don’t mess with the delivery people BTW…Ironically, I’m certain you’ll see MASSIVE outcry
if all of a sudden UPS, Fed Ex, or some other smaller companies STOPPED delivering in the war zones so I
never felt threatened.
Anyway, even in the WORST neighborhoods, the ‘bad guys’ are a tiny fraction of the overall population of course,
the vast majority of South Siders are sweethearts Man, and I mean that…really nice folks AND believe it or not,
I wanna say that, OH maybe 75% maybe upwards of 80% percent of that entire area are very nice, well built
Bungalows, most with, well kept, manicured lawns, pretty trees, birds chirping happily in the summer, etc. (lol).

The worst looking spots are the main business/Industrial areas, (THAT’s what the ‘‘media’’ shows), but the second you turn
into the residential areas it’s VERY different looking and VERY nice, and as far what actually been PROVEN beyond
doubt to work to dramatically reduce crime is the ‘‘stop and frisk’’ method employed by NYC that’s been overturned
by the court, that made NYC one of the safest big cities in the world.
We don’t need the National Guard, that kind of presence ain’t gonna do shit, Gangsters are not intimidated by that
nor will it deter them in any way, the Mayor’s a fuckin’ idiot with a Napoleon complex,
the LAWS need to change, and as controversial as it is, ‘‘stop and frisk’’ worked to make crime drop like a rock
in NYC compared to how NYC WAS.

I am not willing to give up my constitutional rights to due process (Liberty) for the idea of “Feeling” safe. This is only my opinion.

Ok then, we’ll let the bodies pile up in the Morgue as opposed to let other’s feelings get hurt,
the founding fathers were smart, but they never foresaw out of control City violence…so I’m for stop and frisk.

2nd Ammendment

In Chicago that’s not even on the table either…honestly, that’s out of the question and a totally alien
issue here…Keep dreaming…Emperor Emmanuel rules with an iron fist.

I hear now Varq that they are also scanning licenses when you buy ammunition in some stores. So now they are tracking ammo purchases, and if they know the caliber… they know what you own, at least in theory. I know when I come home I’ll be making some ammo purchases, 45, 9mm, 270, etc. Sure those may not be on the chopping block any time soon, but can’t hurt to have it.

Disarming a populace is a horrible idea so long as the bad guys still have access to firearms. You create easier victims. So long as our borders are open, bad guys will continue to get illegal things. I will not give up my right to bare arms (snicker). I hunt and I will protect my family and my own. If/when that becomes a real risk I’m moving to Canadia.

Where the fuck is ‘‘Canadia’’? Do they have HBO there?

The United States is currently 3rd in Murders throughout the World .
But if you take out Chicago , Detroit , Washington DC , and New Orleans , the United States is 4th from the Bottom for Murders.

These 4 Cities also have the toughest Gun Control Laws in the United States .
And all 4 Cities are controlled by liberal Democrats.

However – It probably would be absurd to draw any conclusions from this data.

Yep

Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power. What pure power means you will understand presently. We are different from all the oligarchies of the past, in that we know what we are doing. All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just round the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal. We are not like that. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power.”[/quote]

That is alright, my point was more that they are talking out their ass. Detroit doesn’t have any stricter gun laws than the rest of the state and Michigan is a SHALL issue and open carry state. If you can afford the permit to conceal carry or don’t mind open carry there are only a select few places you cannot go armed in Detroit legally.

Fair enough.

The problem is these cities have vastly disproportionate murder numbers than the rest of the country.

The question is…why?
