Your Goals for 2003 - list 'em here!

Was just looking thru the WA USAPL site, and was perusing the results of the Holiday Classic Push-Pull. Noting the weights listed in the results – are those pounds or kg? I’m thinking kg, otherwise they seem low. Which is it? BW is listed as lbs. What gives?

Some of my goals include the following:

  1. Get in the best shape of my life using Renegade Training. My goal is to get, and remain, at 10 percent bodyfat or less while being fit and well conditioned to participate in other activities.
  2. Get all finances in order and get rid of some financial problems that surfaced this past year.
  3. Buy a new car.
  4. Continue working on my relationship with my girlfriend working toward the future.
  5. Exceed expectations at work with new ideas and programs.

Yup, them be kg. (and the BW is listed as lbs.). But you know what’s wierd? They list the weight lifted (and BW), as lbs. in the 2002 Wa. State meet results. Not very consistent with either kg or lbs. Wild. Patricia

My goal for 2003 is to get laid.

Of course, there are a lot of intermediate steps to that goal.

Goal number one is to beat cancer! which I acomplished already! Inspire other people to have a healthier lifestyle. Create a Non-profit orginization for people that can’t afford cancer treatment!!!

Nice work Fitone! I have a huge admiration for cancer patients after reading ‘Lance Armstrongs-It’s not about the bike’ (great book btw).

Dude, you rock. Danny Kaye reincarnated. BTW, did you know that St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital runs the same way? They’re a children’s cancer research hospital that doesn’t charge any one for treatment. Danny Kaye was the one who started it up.

Come on man, Patricia said REALISTIC goals.

Sorry man couldn’t resist the joke.

To be a good husband and father to my 12 week old boy.

I’m entering an amateur bodybuilding competition in the south west of England in April so hopefully that will go well. I start dieting at the beginning of January.

I also would like to sort out my diet once and for all and increase muscle mass. Currently at about 225lbs at15%bf, would like to get to 220 with 8-10%

Cheers…Stubob…

Brider isn’t St. Jude’s a Children hospital and they care for cancer patients for children only? I am thinking about creating a non-profit organization for all that nead help financing their cancer treatment. I know because I thought I couldn’t affored it but I had help from my rich clients they took care of me…

If you’ll notice, my numbering between my first and second posts is correct.

Now its a 300 lb deadlift for Patricia. She just pulled it tonight.

  1. Beat my fucking annoying acne (B-5)
  2. Finnally get control of my diet (which I fukcing will)- George Formann grill 4 xmas
  3. Pass driving test (no sweat)
  4. Go on personal trainer course
  5. Get drum kit
  6. See the worlds best bands play live - Iron Maiden, Blind-Guardian, In Flames, Helloween etc.
  7. Kill anyone who gets in my way!
    Have it!!

Feeling a little testy this morning but here goes:

1 Prepare to play at the DI Men’s leval of rugby.

2 Train longer, harder, and better than you.(unless of course you are a fellow renegade, in which case good luck)

3 Find a job after graduation that doesn’t interfere with training, and that gives me enough financial security to live well.

4 Never forget that I come first, when you put others first, you put yourself last. This may sound selfish, but everyone needs to determine what makes THEM happy. By creating the ultimate training atmosphere around me and my partners I’m the happiest guy I know. Besides one or two good friends and immediate family, I must come first.

5 Find a girl who can put up with me eating well 6 days a week.

6 Do 8-10 natural glute ham raises, perfect form no hands. Can do 3 currently. 3rd little less than perfect form.

7 Never read a self help book, they are all just garbage, if you can’t motivate to do something you want you are a pathetic waste of space.

I really like the USAPL, that and the WABDL are my two main federations that I lift in. If you have never been to a powerlifting meet, then I STRONGLY encourage you to also lift in WABDL. Their meets run smoother than any other federation out there, and the WABDL worlds is an absolutley amazing thing to participate in. Its only push/pull, but you would do well with a 300lbs Deadlift…Of course you cant go wrong in the USAPL either.

I stole this idea from Patricia…
Create the worlds first anabolic beer! Or failing that, just market it as anabolic beer, make my millions and flee the country before I get slammed with a huge class action lawsuit! J/K, but I have been contemplating tossing a bottle of Tribex into my wort next time I brew…

My goal is to get my girl to start working out regularly. She’s one of the “Oh it hurts too much” type.

Hey, thanks guy for letting me know about the WABDL! Just checked out their website. Vewy Intewesting! I have got to see when the next meet in Oregon is going to happen. My bench and the dead are my stronger lifts, too. Hmmmm…

Forrester: That'd be "Biotest Beer". I can see the ad campaign now (you hearing this Biotest peoples?): A beautiful muscular woman, with a sly smile, holding a bottle of "Biotest Beer", saying: "THIS is what I make sure my man has AFTER a tough, gruelllllllllliiiing workout..." *smirk*.

My goal is to figure out what planet Monkeyboy Eric comes from and to visit the place. Also I would like to rid the world of speedos. Why is it that all the people who wear these are the ones who should not?

2003 goals… 1)Strive to become stronger in my faith with God. 2)Keep family ties stronger than ever. 3)Get married (summer).4)Give and not be so much concerned with the take. 5)Reduce BF down to 7% from April through summer. 6)Help others that have the desire to practice the fitness lifestyle. 7) Continue to educate myself in as many ways as possible.
