Squatting seems to have come pretty naturally to me so I don’t know if I would be the best to give advice. Loads of practice obviously help, so squatting 2-3 times a week during Sheiko definitely helped my form.

Sumo Deadlift: So… around my 2nd working set, I realized the bar just kept nearly slipping at lock out every 2nd reps. I look at the bar, realize there is literally NO knurling. Like it’s smoother then Bug’s mack game. I should of realized it earlier, but at this point wasn’t going to unload everything and switch bars. So I ended up doing Singles (like first rep was fine chalked up, but after that it’s like all the chock just slipped off. lol)

Speed Squats: Really nailed form with these with Samoth’s advice. Also, I watched some videos of high Bar Squatters and of Low-Bar Squatters. I realized I was doing a bastardized version of both, so I fixed my foot position to be more suited for High-bar, and things were much smoother.

So went in not feeling great. Legs STILL sore from Saturday, and sleep was crappy again. Will probably take some sleeping pills to maybe get a full nights worth and get back on track. The slick bar was pretty shitty, but kind of a blessing in disguise, because it kept me from going for to heavy of a single.
I’ll also be using the Coan Program for Squats. Think it’s good I’m starting it at a different time then I did Bench, so I won’t be trying to max out both at the same time. Excited to see how it goes.
