To be honest I didn’t even listen to the first song you posted til just now. Saw “Pump Iron” in there and assumed yours was a joke as well. I know it’s not just metal that people listen to (hell, it’s not all that I listen to) but there is generally a sense of aggression and energy apparent in that style of music that fits well with the mindset required at times to lift some heavy ass weight. And as much as I enjoy some Carmina Burana (nice choice, btw) I just don’t get that from that music, however beautiful/epic it may be.
Well the thing is I never listen to music when I exercise, but if I do it’s only when I run, and something like what I posted or even “I go to Work” by Kool Moe Dee is what I like.

You know what place really rocks? Drumheller. I think I want to retire there in about 40-45 years time.
Drumheller? Really? You are an odd duck, aren’t you?
HA! Truth.
But man, they’ve got a dinosaur on every street corner, that’s just so awesome. I love dinosaurs. I don’t know a single paleontologist and I think that’s sad. Maybe I’ll volunteer at the museum or something to pass my free time.
See, I really enjoyed that. Gave me goosebumps and shivers and shit. I really want to watch Gladiator now. But it doesn’t make me want to lift/run, it makes me want to jump onto an ancient battlefield and swing an axe into somebody’s face.

Well, it is awesome. To drive through or visit. Dinosaurs are awesome, but I’m not sure that’d be enough to justify living there haha. Although if you volunteered at the museum you could take this guy’s job.

Why?
Well I guess it’s because I don’t have a little arm band thingy to hold it so it would be in my pocket (if the shorts I’m wearing that day even have any).
Hey! BAck when I was in Canada I saw a book from the early 90s called Survival 2000 and wondered if that was the post-apocalyptic book you were talking about a few months ago.
