Your Eating Oddities

to quite weird:
A mixture of 1 beaten egg, 2 scoops of vanilla whey, cinnamon, wheat bran, EVOO and coconut oil, baked in the oven for about 15-20 minutes - nice taste but it’s sticky as hell before baking and sticks to the greaseproof paper in the middle. Came up with it yesterday, so I still have to tweek the flavour and the process (i.e. the sticky as hell part).

You have too much dry ingredients. Try it with 1 more egg (2 egg whites would be better)

My family and my mom’s family love sea food. Especially lobsters and steamers. I can’t stand either and could’nt swallow a clam belly to save my life.

Cheese and crackers is an addiction I have a close relation with.
I go back and fourth between healthy choices and shit.
Rare means its still moving and damn tasty.
I despise onions.
I love bbq sauce

peanut butter + chocolate whey sandwiches. shit is the bomb.

I know…no more peanut butter but this one is actually an oddity…mixed in canned tuna  spread on any white for that matter too. Love supershakes: serving or two of raw spinach, serving of fruit, some flax, some kind of oil, half-full scoop whey, raw egg or two, avocado, and make it thick with frozen broccoli.

Cool thread. As for things I don’t like?

Ketchup, mustard, relish, mayo, ANY kind of dressings for salads, pickles, any olives, mushrooms, peppers, all sorts of stuff. I guess I can’t stand coconut and peach flavored things as well.

Guess that’s enough for now.

The shake is nothing absurd. Plenty of people do it. But you my friend take the cake with tuna and PB. The thought is disgusting.

I think people would like raw tomatoes a lot more if they removed the seeds… they can be bitter.

I think its just the highly acidic nature of the vegetable lol

I’m almost positive that tomato’s are alkaline in nature.

I’m not not a fan of the texture,… it’s just… well,… icky -lo

Yup. I always thought it’s a bit like that of a half-rotten apple. Not that I’ve ever tried eating a half-rotten apple, it’s just a weird link in my mind.

I cannot eat eggs. Almost literally. They produce a gag reflex, no matter how they’re cooked. Two summers ago I tried to overcome this, and forced myself to eat them every morning for a couple weeks. Felt nauseous much of the day. I can swallow them raw without much problem, but apparently you digest less of the protein that way, and there’s a salmonella risk or something. I can eat anything that has eggs IN it, so long as the egg-ness is buried under other stuff. Kind of awkward when I’m at someone else’s house overnight and find breakfast ready in the morning…

They have treatment programs for this, you should look into it. You live and work on a farm for 4 weeks, feeding the chickens, getting to know them, and learning that the eggs they produce are not evil, but little protein packed presents that they want you to deliver to your muscles.

It can be a hard road for some, but eggs are a vital part of your diet, and the chicken truly wants to help you grow. Be nice to her, eat the egg.

I’ll drink olive oil sometimes. Not because I’m trying to bulk up or slam some quick calories, but because I think it tastes awesome.

I’m addicted to feta cheese. I’ll sit there and eat a 1/2 pound block with a fork if I don’t watch myself.

Cashews. I’ll eat an entire container if I’m not paying attention.

Lastly I’ll munch on pickled jalapenos right out of the jar. Delicious.

Respect for that - I had something like a 50% failure rate when trying to drink it straight (i.e. I would end up not being able to swallow it no matter how hard I tried). I even have problems if I put too much of it in shakes.

Cashews are perfectly understandable and not odd at all, they’re delicious. In fact, I have to pretty much portion all my nuts (cashews, almonds, hazelnuts) out, otherwise I can eat ridiculous amounts of them. I have not found my limit yet and I’m not even sure it exists…

Stu: Just wanted to say I ordered Power Butter… it’s damn addictive!!! I love the slight crunch in it. Where do you like to order it from?
