ah, yes, but isn’t that everywhere you go everyday/time? I’ll keep wearing it daily cause I don’t think it can hurt with the ladies. And who knows when an oppurtunity will present itself.
Ah true. For me I like to compartmentalize my life…if I’m in class I’m there to learn. If I’m at gym I’m there to train. If I’m at the club I’m there to pick up. etc.

I’m not really the type to pick up a girl outside of the time I have the specific intention to do so.
If you’re wearing a normal amount, no one’s going to smell it unless they’re within pretty intimate proximity. I wash my balls every day, but that doesn’t mean I’m expecting to get blown all the time. It’s just a hygiene thing. Why not smell good?

Yes. Can’t go wrong with D&B. D&B Light Blue isn’t terrible either.

Burberry Brit (I think) for the summer and Spark by Liz Clairborn for the fall.

These are old scents so you should be able to find them cheap.

This should be one of your prime directives.

Finally, a place at T-Nation for all the gym-fags to share their best practices for advertising their latent desire to suck the cream from the pink banana.

Next, please start a thread to encourage your compatriots to congregate at exclusive gyms which will best be located in close proximity to truck stops, gay bars, and Catholic churches.

Seriously, don’t wear that shit when you plan to work out; it’s utterly obnoxious. If BO is a problem for you, look at your diet. You stink because your skin is trying to detoxify the putridity congealing in your lower intestine. Eat more fiber and stop acting like a fag. You’re fuckin ridiculous. There have been scientific studies that show women are physically attracted to men whose smell indicates that their DNA will improve the immune response of their offspring. Revel in your stench you smelly bastard!

Aside from the rant above… good thread.

I like Pi by Givenchy, my girl says it reminds her of baby powder. Wish it was that cheap.

Also, I have Gucci by Gucci for my work day. Don’t like smelling the same at work as I do when I’m out on the prowl, y’know.

hmm… i wear different cologne when during the day then when im out at the club, or a date…
i like aqua di gio during the day… diamonds for men if i want something stronger…
if im at the club then d&g the one. … girls notice it.

Armani code. I like the LaCoste essential or essence I forgot what it’s called but these are two good ones to cycle.

cologne is lame. Take a shower/showers every day, wear deodorant and smell like a clean man.

I think that’s pretty much a given. I hope people dont need encouragement to simply WASH. LOL

C.K Man works very well btw. It’s pretty far off that unisex smell most of them put out

Allow me to second Valentino. Amazing, amazing stuff. I wasn’t too keen on the smell from the bottle, but like all colognes, it smells totally different after you wear it for a few minutes. I have never had so many women suddenly lean in and sniff me before.

I give a thumbs up for Play. It seems a bit standard to me, but sometimes you want to smell standard, you know?

I also like dior homme. It’s my meeting musk, if you will.

You know, you screw a couple of counter girls over at sephora, and it’s amazing the habits and knowledge you pick up. Anyway, you poo-pooing cologne–it’s like a suit. You’ve obviously yet to wear one that fits you right. Get an attractive woman with good taste, and ask her to help you pick one out. (And when you sneak off in the morning, be sure to put a lil on the pillow–dirty trick yes, but memories are much more powerful with a smell cue.)

Kueppers Koelsch. REAL Cologne

Yep yep yep, my deodorant is scented that is good enough for me unless I’m at a club.

Cologne has nothing to do with having good hygiene. I don’t understand why a guy would need to walk around smelling like that at all times.

I view cologne as an extension of my personal brand. I’m extremely clean and smell great naturally, but I like the idea of controlling the olfactory experience my presence delivers (yes I’m exaggerating, but only a bit).

Two half sprays everyday in the morning before work. Same amount before going out. If going to the gym is the first thing I do on a given day, I won’t wear any cologne and will wait to shower until afterwards.

There was a whole thread on hygiene that got a ton of responses. Notwithstanding my own opinion on the matter. If you need a thread to know how to not smell like ass, something is wrong.

Letâ??s Talk cologne…

How do you pick your cologne? Do you bring a girl with you? Do you pick something that represents your personality? Or do you just go with what smells best? I do a little of the last two options.

What do you wear? Does it depend on the situation? Do you wear more than one type at the same time?

I just got Versace Pour Homme the other day and it is AMAZING, kinda like Acqua Di Gio but a little more bold. I havenâ??t been this happy with a bottle of cologne in a LONG TIME. Check it out next time your wife/girlfriend drags you to the mall. Heres what the bottle looks like.

Dude go for the Hai Karate!!!

Some of you cologne haters are idiots, seriously, you have no idea how much you underestimate how much women value and appreciate a guy who smells really good. Now, “what” smells really good to a woman will obviously vary, but some effort on your part shows that you care enough about yourself to possibly impress her.

My new favorite is Creed Aventus. I find it hard to justify buying a small bottle of this stuff for $140, so I got a sample which I will use for a bit then make a decision. My verdict?.. the BOMB. I put it on this morning, with a full day of stuff to do. Late this afternoon, I hit the gym for my workout, where it was still apparent and came out even more once I started sweating.

Bottom line, don’t be an ass, it doesn’t really matter what cologne you get since they react to skin chemistry differently from person to person. Just make an extended effort to smell good.
