Remember skinny dipping in a lake in Ontario when a friend on shore informed me there were snapping turtles in the lake. That’s when I learnt to walk on water. Snapping turtles aren’t cool. Things touching my leg when I’m swimming, that’s a fear factor for sure too!

I use to have a phobia of spiders until I moved out here - I stored alot of stuff in a storage shed in the midwest. I had to go in and get it out and it was like a 5 X 5 full of cotton candy there were so many webs. Soon I was jusdt smashing them on me and continued working. now they don’t bother me much.
Some things are not phobias just normal survival reactions. I was in the ocean once standing next to my sister-in-law. We felt something big bump us. We asked each other if we felt it. Then it bumped us again knocking us back. We both ran for the shore. Later I learned about how frequently sharks bump things before attacking. Its scarey to have something big knock you backward in the water - you can’t see it, just feel it. But its survival type fear.
If I had a phobia I would be afraid of posting it online for fear someone would use it against me…LOL
