Will try to provide more porn…of the food variety…

Had some guys at work ask about a bench press competition…the challenge was to do your body weight for 3 reps…I was banned from ‘official’ competition, but put up 275 for 3 reps and here’s 315. May actually get some of the guys to take more interest in lifting heavy.

^ This. I spent the last 20 years getting done with school, work, raising kids and lifting to stay sane. Now Kids are out of house, made partner at my company. So I work out to eat good steak, drink 12-18 year old scotch and enjoy life.

Pretty good week. Got yoga in 2 or 3 times. Shoulder feels good when I do the yoga, but hurts like crazy when I don’t…has me wondering if there’s something more bad with it than just needing to stretch.

Did you really need a spot on the bench? This food porn is just devilish…I don’t know if it’s safe for younger viewers.

Today’s lunch. Had sauteed a beef shin for a while after searing it in olive oil. Add some beef stock, carrots, celery and potatoes. Douse with chervil, sage, rosemary and thyne. Lovely beef stew with a nice barley wine.

Me personally I rather the shoulder issue than the groin, ouch. For your shoulder, so yoga seems to help you but then maybe you do something else to it afterwards? Or maybe, mine will seize up on me if I don’t keep it moving with swimming & stuff, but any type of horizontal pressing aggravates it, even the simple yoga push chaturanga bothers it.
