Safe?
From the same FDA that let partially hydrogenated oils and high fructose corn syrup flood our food supply. Yeah, I believe anything they say…
if you read it carefully the main jist is yohimbe primarily as its yohimbe extract form can be dangerous. the overdose part is true as are warnings for drug interactions and people with certain illnesses should not take it. if you are young and healthy, taking yohimbine HCl correctly dosed in quantities around 10-15mg per day has many benefits.
Funny how they’re more strict on herbal supplements than they are on the drugs they pass.

Yeah, I’ve never had any problems with yohimbine HCl.
For what it’s worth I can not tolerate even small amounts of yohimbe. I get nauseas and chills that last for 10 to 12 hours, happens every time. Sucks for me cause it gives me huge boners and burns fat off me like crazy. A friend of mine takes it by the bucket fulls with no problems, lucky bastard. On the other hand I can tolerate ephedra like it’s only a cup of coffee.

I have pretty much the same trouble.
People react differently to things.
I wish that people didn’t assume that anything sold must be harmless under all conditions… and that they knew how to start trying something at low doses to assess tolerance.
Why?
Because, whenever possible, the FDA is more than happy to pull supplements as dangerous since such products compete with highly profitable and patent protected approved drugs.
Of course, drugs have to be prescribed and we are then removed from decisions and control over our own bodies and treatments.
Proper warnings and personal responsibility for not adhering to them would be a good start. Letting people make informed decisions about their own bodies would also be a good start.
Who decided that government should have the ability to deny us the right to make decisions that involve only our own well being? Don’t we become responsible adults at some age?
I have a real hard time with Yohimbe and Yohimbine as well. I get extremely bad headaches no matter the dose shortly after injestion. I also get the chills for many hours as well, temporary nausea, extreme heart palpitations, and an overall shitty feeling all day. I wish this stuff wasn’t added to many fat burners because I 'd be able to take them a little more often.

I’ve experienced the same thing with Yohimbie, although Yohimbine doesn’t cause any problems for me.
Too many people confuse Yohimbie with Yohimbine. There is a very significant difference.

Do you naturally feel that way when taking it or are you also drinking and/or taking other medications, such as Antidepressants, with it?
Many people judge a supplement based on their own experience while often forgetting about any interactions they may of had.

I naturallly feel that way, as I’m not on any medication outside of the occasional anti-inflamatory.
As dumb as this sounds, I keep trying products that contain it just to see what the reaction will be, hoping I find one that works, but for the most part, it’s the same. The effects seem to be worse as I age as well.
I have found that if I take only 1 HOT-ROX pill a day, the side effects are tolerable, but I still feel the chills and a more elevated heart-rate.
Some people just can’t tolerate it, or rather have a comfortable ceiling of only about 5 mg as the beginning of the bothersome point. Just a lot of individual variation with this.
Partly that is why both HOT-ROX Extreme and Maximum Strength exist: not everyone is suited to the yohimbine in the Extreme and so it is better to have a version without, or one that’s below that threshold. (Also because the forskolin carbonate in it is better, though more costly, than the Sclaremax.)

That’s because you can’t patent a herb. Therefore drug companies can’t make zillions and pay the bribes to the politicians. Who said it? “Follow the money?”
