Yogi's Random Training Thoughts

Someone, at some point, must have just been doing something that at the time was rather stupid but felt a really good muscular contraction and then packaged the movement up nicely with a apt name or whatever and eventually it caught on.

Tangentially related, I enjoy thinking about how weird it must have been to have been the first patient for some treatments. But then again, need knows no barriers. Same goes for baked goods. Or just something dumb like cream. “Yeah I just stirred milk for ages because y’know I was bored and I wanted to see if anything interesting would happen”. Or fermentation. “Yeah-p, we let this bad boy rot basically, but we had nothing to eat and it tasted kinda good!”

I do these, but don’t feel them much in my abs. Any cues for it, other than trying to suck your own dick?

The trick is not just to try and suck your own dick but also to try and fuck yourself in the face.

So when you’re standing there, leaning forward, all braced for the dick sucking, you also want to try and curl your pelvis up like you were really trying to give your mouth the business. It’s like trying to do a standing reverse crunch, if you see what I mean.

Been on holiday for the last couple of weeks, so naturally certain lifestyle choices have meant my gut health is pretty much Fed in the A.

Decided to pick up 2 shiny new health supps - Saccharomyces Boulardii and a collagen supp.

The SA is this weird yeast that works like a probiotic. Lots of interesting science regarding its use with IBS and IBD, particularly diarrheic types such as myself. Collagen will hopefully bestow the same effects as the bone broth did, as it is the main healthful ingredient in the broth. I know that taking supps in isolation rarely works as well as having it in a complete food, so I doubt that it’ll be quite as good, but even if it is at least almost as good then I’m pretty happy given that a month’s worth of collagen costs £23 and the broth was costing close to £200!

Will report back with results in a couple of weeks.
