MR DBCooper, firstly, congratulations on the use of google. You sure showed up with a real bang. Unfortunately your insults really didn’t hold much validity when you defined me as something which I had already self pro-claimed [see (“douchebag[gery]”). Your second post is some what of a direct contradiction dribbling with irony at the fact that you pointed out that I am “uneducated”. So I will go no further in responding to your post, I suggest you do the same, your pride, along with further contradiction depends on it.
Nikki, my little ice princess, I do apologize for my “lame attempt to insult [you]” especially when you returned with such an amazing counter-argument. I have no doubt your “body can reel in more pussy” than mine, I guess I’ll just have to rely on my boyish charm and quick wit when it comes to skirt chasing. Please do elaborate on you’re #2 (lol number 2) because it currently has no argument or point to it.
hahahaha this thread really took a turn to negative town… Diesel All Day (obviously a troll. why else would you have an avatar name like that on a site like this) is trying to take the educated witty route with his responses but its not really working.
I’ve definitely gotten a few laughs out of this thread but back to the original point… That lady was in a rough area of town and reached for a cops belt/gun. what the fuck did she think was going to happen? I mean seriously?
EDIT: all days occupation is listed as “sexafied”, has photo shopped/airbrushed pictures as his photos and has a “500lb deadlift” picture that is just some guy standing over a barbell… it’s confirmed = troll
As for me being a troll, I might agree with you, (although all those pictures are of me). Its just too much fun. As for it “not really working” I’d have to disagree, that DBCooper fella, is in checkmate, a further response would just ruin all of his hard work ;). As for Nikki, she’s clearly too afraid to continue the banter, lest she become even more attracted to me than she already is.
Back to the original argument though, you said “what the fuck was she thinking”. I would assume that because she is handicapped her thought processes are not that of a normal person. And the main point of my original argument was what happened after she got slammed into the concrete, not the act itself.

I don’t think this guy is a troll at all; that would be giving him way too much credit. I think the more likely scenario is that DieselAllDay is simply a disillusioned, misguided kid who thought it would be funny (and that he would gain some amount of support) if he started to toss insults around in some warped way to add “flavor” or, in his mind, legitimacy to his argument. It’s a form of modern sophistry, namely to garnish an otherwise faulty argument with insults aimed at those who stand on the opposite side of said argument in an attempt to distract from the otherwise dubious nature of the person’s claims.
Now that he’s been called out and realized while sitting at home on Mommy and Daddy’s PC that maybe insults and immature ranting don’t always fly, especially during what has been a somewhat adult-like discussion (adult-like for this forum anyways). So now he’s backtracking in the face of his mistake, and doing so poorly I might add. But I digress from the original topic…
While yes I see the point deb and others are making, it is clear from the video that she is hobbling, not a threat, and was already past the officers when he shoves her down. It is clearly an abuse of state power.
Well, with cops like that, it’s a good thing that the medical care is free.
I’m sure that the folks that buy the “she was going for my gun” lie will appreciate that when you become the ones who were going for the gun.
Interesting stratification of humanity going on there in Canada too. If you are from or in X part of a city, you are fine, but if you are in Y part of the city, well then you obviously earned abuse from the police.

Pathetic. [/quote]
so because someone is hobbling they arent a threat? If I was a criminal and planned on going for a cops gun you bet your ass I’d be TRYING to look as non threatening as possible.
Why do you think suicide bombers will strap bombs to old women or put them in baby strollers? For the exact same logic that you used in thinking a hobbling woman isnt a threat.

did you even read the article? (obviously not because of the above sentence)
the woman who was pushed to the ground said the part about going for the gun. She said that the cop must have thought she was going for their gun because she raised her hand and touched his belt (where his gun is)

And why do you think it seemed that way? Because she was about to fuckin fall down! And why? Because the cops saw her hobbling in their direction and totally ignored that fact. If you’re hobbling and is about to bump into somebody, you would obviously bump into them if they don’t get out of your way. She was about to fall because she was about to bump into the cop, so she tried to hold on to something and that just happened to be a cop, who instead of holding her upright, shoves her to the pavement and stares her down.

She has cerebral palsy. I’m no expert but my understanding is that it doesn’t effect her mental capacity at all. She just has trouble controlling her body. Which is why it might have looked like she was grabbing for his gun. I don’t think your thought processes are the same as a normal person’s

SkyzykS made me reread the article to make sure I didn’t misinterpret the wording, I see what you did there…

I mis-worded that. I meant she was still hobbling once she had already passed.
I see your point, and kindly allow it, but still maintain my stance that it is a clear abuse of state power.

If you’d ever been around Hastings, you’d understand. Not to say the cop was right or wrong, but that area is a virtual graveyard of used up hookers, heroin addicts, drunks, released mental patients and the occasional serial killer. It’s fucking scary as hell. Cops are not super human, this guy lost his nerve but I totally get why. I don’t think it’s wise for anyone to lay a hand on a cop in any situation, and in that hellhole, you’d really be asking for it, right or wrong.
Interpret the video as you please, but the title of your thread is insulting. Soldiers and law enforcement…they put their life on the line, for you. Those are difficult shoes to walk in.
