First time trying these, so technically all PRs. Set @ hole 2. The 405 was sketchy because the bar came too far forward on my sweaty ass forearms. The sticking point seems to be at lockout…that’s new. These felt harder than from the floor, too.

Landed a bit wide on the 245 and thought I may have tweaked my R knee slightly. Became timid, but then I remembered Courage Wolf (srs) and PR’d with 255. Landed on my feet better, but didn’t catch it very well; the bar was mostly being held in my hands and not on my clavicles…not exactly sure how I managed to stand up with it. Took it again to try and clean it up a bit, but I was too slow and I called it. Ideally I would have liked 265 today, but I still hit a PR, so no sweat.

Worked up to a few doubles/triples sumo to see where I’m at right now. Overall speed on this day was a bit better than it was recently, but still nowhere near where it should be.
Squat - attempted to work up to a solid single (not 1RM), but ended up bombing 335 lulz. I know, I know: “stop missing reps.” My mind really wasn’t into it today.

Then I went and played Ultimate Frisbee for about an hour and a half.
The first triple with 335 gargled balls…got way to far forward on the last rep and felt like a 3RM. Derped in the hole on the attempt of a 2nd triple at that weight, but took it for a 3rd time and did it. Wanted to work up to 355 today.

Derped in the hole at the 2nd go w/ 355; took it again and did it for a slow ass single, even by my standards. But I’m glad to have hit a new PR and didn’t let 355 get the last laugh.
So I did some technique work on sumo pulls and moved my feet out a few inches wider. Stellar idea. Things moved a lot better than in the past. Decided to work up a bit and do some singles at 480. First one was ez muney, but for some reason the other ones didn’t want to break. Although I’m pissed at my stupid ass for missing weights again, I feel optimistic about this new technique and think I can handle a lot more when fresh. Up until now it’s as if I was doing wide-stance conv pulls with my hands inside of my legs. Hopefully this shit won’t be detrimental to my performance later in the week.

Got fucking robbed of that 365 triple…hit the pins, came up SO slow, and couldn’t recover for the rest of the set. Tried it again and didn’t want to come out of the hole.
