Xbox One vs PS4

You gonna get another one? I was always a Nintendo fan boy but I really loved the Dreamcast. Took a lot for me to admit that.

I’m not sure, I would eventually like to add one to my collection for sure but I think I might just go for a N64 next because of their reliability.

Super Mario 64 is a given right? Super Mario 64 is so good.

All classic games are a given!

Even N64 Zelda despite my dislike for 3d Zelda games.

Duuuuuuuude x2. Ocarina Of Time is pure gold, shiny N64 carat gold.

You more of a Link To The Past kind of guy? 16-bit Zelda is real good, but Ocarina Of Time and even Majora’s Mask are up there.

The Legends of Zelda is one of if not the greatest side scrollers (and game) ever made. Ocarina of Time is one of if no the greatest 3D (and game) every made. The 2 are that close imo.

FYI, I like all Zelda games. I really like Wind Waker on the Cube.

I mean, I might buy a Wii U if/when a new Zelda is made just for that game…

I wish Nintendo would just stop making consoles. They could be a the best 3rd party publisher in the industry.

Between Zelda and Mario, I think Nintendo might have supplied the richest and most consistent playing experiences of my childhood. I’m kind of sad that Nintendo is just kind of clinging on there now and not in control of a modern gaming super-engine like the One or PS4, graphically intensive and with the same incredible playability Zelda would be so good.

Ya, I agree. I think they thought Wii U was gonna fly off the shelves like the Wii did. The thing is, the people that bought the Wii aren’t going to buy a newer version of the same thing. These are people that play Dorra the Explorer with their kids. They aren’t “gamers.”

Nintendo should have taken steps to be on par with PS4/Xbone. Not remain a full gen behind like they are. No one wants to play AC or COD on a Wii.

They also need a real controller like the 64 or gamecube had.

I petition for the resurgence of Nintendo to the forefront of gaming, we’ll usher in a new age of sweet particle physics in water temples and realistic Bowser fireballs. It’s nice to see that even if Nintendo are on the back lines in terms of the consoles that the games are still being pumped out with some admirable quality, I hear A Link Between Worlds is really fun.

I second this motion!

Ya, it looks good.

My childhood was dominated by Nintendo. There was a brief window of about 3 yrs were PS2 took over and then it was onto the XBox and I haven’t left since. I loved some Zelda, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, etc.

Did anyone every play Ogre Battle 64? That was a fun game I tried but returned to Blockbuster and couldn’t rent again. I bought it a few years ago at a GameStop and played it for a while. Didn’t finish it though…

Don’t remember Ogre Battle. My favorite 64 games (aside from the big boys like Mario/Zelda) was Quest 64. I didn’t play SmashBros until GameCube and it was glorious.

I never really got into the GameCube and I didn’t like the controller. I loved the N64 controller and I would say Smash Brothers on 64 was better. I think they added too many guys and too many moves and stuff I couldn’t adjust to with limited hands on time…

Still have my N64…I bust out Gauntlet Legends from time to time. And of course when ever I feel nostalgic I have to play Starfox 64

Ah Starfox 64. The good ol days when you had to beat the game in one sitting or start all over.

Gauntlet Legends was good too.

Ah, I’ve played Smash on 64, gamecube(Melee), and Wii (Brawl). I think Melee is probably the best. Just my opinion anyway. I liked hte gamecube controller. I still use it on the Wii for Brawl.

I like the 64 controller too.

Link to the Past and Link’s Awakening are where it’s at.

I kind of want a 3ds just to get the new one.

I just feel they operate better as top down because of how lighthearted they are.
