In this one ^ , McQuery said “I did the right thing?you guys know me?the truth is not out there fully?I didn’t just turn and run?I made sure it stopped?I had to make quick tough decisions.”

BREAKING: “I’m innocent of these charges” Jerry Sandusky tells Bob Costas in exclusive interview airing tonight 10p/9c NBC
Yep, poor Jerry. All 8-20+ of these kids got together with McQueary, the 2 janitors, the wrestling coach, Paterno, the AD and the other administrator and cooked this whole thing up.
This might be the dumbest move ever. After this fuckwad goes on national TV and lies his ass off the pure hatred is going to be overwhelming.
His dick accidentally fell in the kid’s ass repeatedly… Happens to everyone you know.
The lawyer for Sandusky should be fired for letting him do that interview with Costas last night.
He just sounded turruble.
If somebody asks you if you are sexually attracted to young boys…you do not take 17 seconds to answer.

I missed it, but how does that even go on air?
Here is the full interview. It was probably one of the more creepy things I have heard.
If anyone had any doubts about Sandusky’s guilt before, they won’t after listening to this.

Just a VERY bad move on his lawyers part…you are trying to muzzle him at this point, not trot him out on national television.

Costas was on The Dan Patrick Show this morning…and even he could not believe that Sandusky had talked “openly” as he did.
And yes, it was creepy as shit.

This was interesting.
Here is the Dan Patrick Show link for anyone who wants to listen.

Costas, being clearly sold on Sandusky’s “Yeah, we were showering and he was sliding around the floor and I was whipping him with a towel… and while I’m not sexually attracted to young boys, I do enjoy young people” line of reasoning.
Crazy pedo is crazy.

That’s an understatement. And his response to if he was sexually attracted to young boys, shit…might as well have just said “YEP!”

I’m not sure if I’m the only PSU student on here, but I think I can speak for the majority of our student body.
First of all, one man committed this crime. Others covered for him, but it all comes down to that one man in the shower. One man is not Penn State. This is aimed at those who say they’ve lost all respect for our school, and “hope someone blows up the stadium.” All because of one man? Ok, about 10% of our student body made a mess downtown. That group is not Penn State. Penn State is 40,000 students from all over the world. Penn State is THON, the largest philanthropic project in any college, anywhere, raising money for kids with cancer. Penn State is an institution which provides some of the highest quality education in the world.
Furthermore, don’t judge those rioting kids too hard. What they did is clearly wrong and stupid, but you have no idea what it’s like to be here right now. You know that feeling right after you get home from a family member’s funeral? The house doesn’t feel right. Everyone tries to act like everything’s ok, but everyone knows it’s not. That’s what this campus feels like. It’s like we lost a family member. We are so proud of our school and everything it stands for. We are so proud of our football team and it’s (ex)coach who’s been here since before our parents were born. JoePa was our fearless, virtuous leader. Most of us have idolized the man and the school since we were children, and coming here is a dream come true. Now, we find out that maybe everything’s not what it seems in Happy Valley. I know you don’t understand, but this is our home. Our world is crushed. Those kids, most of whom are fresh out of high school, didn’t know any other way to express their confusion and surge of emotion. Our older students stay away from these things for the most part. That doesn’t make it right, but those kids are not evil.
The world is rightfully disgusted with the actions of the that man and our school’s administration. The thing that people all over the world don’t seem to understand is that we too are disgusted and ashamed. We’re used to standing tall and proudly stating that We Are… Penn State. Now what do we do? None of us raped any kids, or covered it up, but that’s the only thing people think of when they hear our name now.
It makes me sick to think that our glorious school has been reduced to a haven for child rapists by popular opinion, all because of the actions of a few men in power.
I keep hearing talking heads ask, “What can Penn State do to rebuild its reputation?” The answer is, exactly the same things we’ve always been doing. We’ll keep providing high quality education. We’ll keep hosting visitors from opposing teams with class. We’ll keep raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for the kids every year.
We are the same Penn State we have always been, and always will be.
Would you say the majority of current PSU students support Joe Paterno and are against his firing? What is the general consensus on campus?
Yes, most of us are against his firing. We’re all pretty frustrated with the media too. There was little to no coverage of the vigil held for the victims which had 4 or 5 times as many students as the riots. The news makes it seem like our entire campus is out pillaging, but, like I said, it’s only less than 10%.
My personal opinion is that, unfortunately, he had to go. However, I think that after all he’s done for this university, they could have let him stay until the end of the season and retire with some dignity instead of firing him over the phone.
The thing is, there isn’t much more Joe could have done. He reported it to his boss and the police. Like I said before, the district attorney officially said that there was not enough evidence to prosecute. I don’t know what people expect Joe to do. Yall act like he sat in the shower and cheered Sandusky on.

Yeah, I agree cause an innocent person would be like “Hell, FUCK NO! and when this is over I am going to go on a major ass kicking spree and sue what’s left. Shit, I ought to punch you in the mouth Bob for asking the question, dick!” Not well um, er, I kinda like young people and stuff, I mean not sexually or something but kinda like em’."
My closing statement would be something to the effect of “May God have mercy on the accusers because I won’t”

Better or worse than Rick Perry’s “oops.”?

I suppose that if Sanduskys lawyer impregnated a gril who gave birth BEFORE her 18th birthday…he might have special input on how to defend a Pedo.
Holy shitballs this just keeps getting worse.

I couldn’t help but think that the entire story sounded like a movie pitch for the opening scene of pedophile porn.

Any merit to the idea that the lawyer is intentionally garnering media attention to set up his reason to excuse jurors who are too familiar with the case, in the event that the potential juror claims he/she can be impartial even though he/she is aware of the facts?

I don’t mean to disrupt the flow here (lol) and let facts get in the way…but wtf…
Age of consent in PA is 16. She was “of age”. The lawyer did not break the law and the lawyer is not a “pedophile” under any reasonable analysis of the term properly defined. He fathered two children with the young lady, and they were later married, and then later divorced. The ex-mother-in-law describes him as a very loving father and made no negative statement about him.
I agree it’s troubling for a man in his late 40’s to take up with a teenager. However, it’s doesn’t fit “pedophile”. Pedophilia is generally a sexual interest in pre-pubescent childr

This plus the judges connection to Second Mile keeps me thinking that when all starts to get uncovered this is going to get worse and worse. PSU might be in the middle of nowhere but it is easier to keep secrets there than in larger metropolises.

They don’t have much to lose.
I think he’s trying to get his guy’s side of the story out there. Really, what is the downside? The public sentiment against him cannot get any stronger.
He’s already claiming several of the “victims” will be denying the claims against him.
