WTF...Is this Even Possible?

I’ve seen drastic transformations and know the capability of the human being but…this guy said he put on 50 lbs in 3 weeks…wtf?

What do you all think?

if he was able to change his diet as dramatically as he says, from an anorexic/bulimic condition to a 4000 kcal/day intake then you’d see a rapid, dramatic difference.

but where does it say he put on 50lb in 3 weeks?

It might have to do with the fact he was anorexic at the start and a good majority of the initial weight gain was simply getting himself back to healthy weight?

Where did you get 3 weeks from? He says 14 weeks at the bottom of the article.

I’m not even sure it’s the same guy…but I expect if it is true, thats exactly what he was going for.

The before/after pictures go from w/e → 240lb beast, but the article says that he finished at 167 after 14 weeks(up to 177 after 12, then cut to 167 in 2 more weeks suggesting that he’s still pretty fat phobic). I guess they just tossed some random after of a 240lb guy dieting for a contest up?

he could have written it in a post tense years after the initial change. Says he’s sponsored and weighs 240 now. Good guess.

In all honesty it could very well be true. I myself have suffered from bulimia in my younger years as a High School student and part of college before I saw the light. I had a lot of help from a bodybuilding friend of mine who showed me how to train and how to eat. He basically showed me how not to obscess over food so much, eat regular meals (3-4 hours apart), plenty of protein, and train only an hour a day.

At the time I was about 140 lbs when I went to college. Joined a fraternity. Best thing I ever did. Helped me overcome my disease and brought me on the bodybuilding track. I gained about 50 lbs that first year of solid training. Been about 210 lbs ever since, and bodybuilding saved my life.

Three weeks does sound like a pretty short time frame, but if the body is craving the nutrients and it’s been in a nutrient deprived state for so long, with training and accumulation of proper nutrition it might just super compensate by adding the 50 lbs. I can’t say whether it’s all muscle mass or not though. Probably even distribution. Generally slower progression is better when it comes in terms of fat loss/muscle gaining efforts.

Gremlin

it says he did it in 6 years. why not? he gained 110lbs. why not? he was anhorexic so why the fuck not? you guys need to read properly.

my bad. im retarded. but still. good transformation. its just a huge confusing fuck up that BB.com put up his fucked up stats. his progress is awesome though. im sure the 14 weeks was dragged out a little longer.

Hahaha thanks man

considering his starting point… i think it is very possible, his body was begging for FOOOD!!!

It’s entirely possible with proper diet, training, and advanced recovery strategies.

And by ‘advanced recovery strategies’ of course I mean a shitload of GEAR!

I don’t see an article.

I don’t see an article either

I guess we’re not allowed to go outside these walls. scratches at wall

Considering the general disdain for anything from BB.com you tend to find around here, I’m not surprised if they’re trying to keep the negative comments down in order to keep something resembling a peaceful relationship.

Could someone PM me the link then? I’m too intrigued now. haha.
