Back in 2001 (which, as someone pointed out, given that it was taking place in sept, means that it was a scant few weeks after sept 11) phil all of a sudden started yelling, saying that he was going to the finals, he’d be world’s strongest man someday and america would be back on top … knowing that he went on to make good on that even if it did take a half decade, it makes your hairs stand on end watching it

Word. I found the video on some tribute to Pfister on youtube, but they withheld the audio. It’s one of my favorite clips of all time. My only hope is that they play it at this years WSM on christmas and I tivo it.

if you know how to edit a .dvr-ms file, or how to convert it to .wmv, i MAY be able to send you a copy. i think i have the clip, but i am not sure. like 70% sure, maybe
This time of year always makes me wonder what Johnny Perry could have done.
