Any of you wristwatch men?
How does a Tauchmeister fare?
What would we recommend under about $300?
Any decent names in automatic swiss movement?

i have one of those and it’s a great watch though i wish it had a backlight. still it’s so good for the money i would buy another and live without the backlight if i lost it. that link has a killer price for titanium.
as for automatic watches they can be found for $300 but you may do better shopping for something used.
I have a tissot seastar 1000, its a little over your price range. You might be able to find one used for around there. The seastar 660 is just as nice though, and is a little cheaper.
The only thing with the 660 is its a little smaller (but the 1000 is huge, I actually like the 660 size better) and its not automatic. Still a very nice watch, though.

Hamilton.
Dunhill look to be fine watches. Check them out, I just did a little research.
