just cause the mouth and gills are moving like that doesnt mean its still alive. i’ve seen cows and lambs start to kick their legs with gusto 5 mins AFTER they’ve had their heads chopped off. i think the fish would be dead by now considering all its other internal organs have already been deep fried.
Eating anything that is still moving, wether dead or alive, is just sick. Unless Satan rose from the firey pits of hell and the only way of killing him was to eat him alive, then no, you are just a sick individual for doing such a thing. Fucking Japs.

I’ve had the Lobster Sashimi at Sushi Ota in San Diego several times. They cut that fucker’s tail open and dice up the meat right in front of you while its stares right at you with its whiskers moving around. Its fantastic, but a little freaky.
One time we were sitting next to this British couple at the bar, having a friendly conversation and what not, and they were all excited when they heard me order the Lobster. They were all ooh and ahh until they realized what was happening and then they started freaking out, screaming animal abuse, and they got escorted right out the back. Then we went back to drinking Sake and eating our food like nothing had happened. Good times.
I’ve had a Japanese version of it. They take a fish out of an aquarium and start making sashimi out of it. It’s pretty “genki” (energetic) by the time it reaches your table.
