“Gigli”
I walked out. If I had to endure one more minute of this cinematic torture, I would stick pins in my eyes.

I agree Renee’s mouth is fucked up…who is she related to that she gets to be an ‘actress’?
Also…if you guys don’t have kids, nephews, nieces, etc…you are missing out on some of the worst movies ever.
Teacher’s Pet - Worst movie ever. About a boy and his dog and how the dog wants to be a boy and the dog dresses up like a boy and the dog’s voiced by Nathan Lane…so…that should tell you all you need to know…my 5 year old REALLY, REALLY, REALLY wanted to see it…one of the worst experiences of my life, but was saved when my son said, “Daddy, this is boring. I didn’t know it was going to be all singing…Can we leave?”
Garfield movies…just awful.
Pixtar movies…I don’t understand why adults like these…I agree some of them are somewhat funny…but…they’re funny in a way that should embarrass you that you’re finding them funny…I’m thinking of Cars where it’s revealed the girl car has a tramp stamp…HA HA HA HA ! Get it ! It’s pinstriping that looks like a tatoo on her lower back ! Isn’t that FUNNY ! Also…the ‘formula’ of the movies is so predictable…I know, I know they’re kid’s movies…but…the adults I know find them really funny for some reason.
The Bee Movie - Jerry Seinfeld plays a bee that falls in love with a human and together they sue the human race for stealing bee’s honey…get it ? But then things turn bad when the bees can’t make honey anymore for the humans so they have to learn to get along…side plot is the girl’s boyfriend gets jealous of Jerry the bee and tries to flush him down the toilet…
Oh yeah…I’ll shut up now…but…without question…the worst movies are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movies. Absolutely nothing redeeming about them at all…

The Village (Shyamalan)

I would extend that list to everything Shyamalan has made. He takes a plot twist that would have made a good 30 minute episode of the twilight zone and stretches it out to 2 hours.
The only movie I saw this year that I really hated was In The Valley of Elam. The sneaky thing about that movie is it doesn’t get awful until the ending.

Add me to the list of loving “Fifth Element”. So many entertaining lines and characters in that movie.
My pick for Worst: “Santa Claus Meets the Easter Bunny”. It’s so bad I can’t find it in any cinematic database. I saw it at the Cameo Theatre in Weymouth for a dollar when I was in the 7th grade . I still want my money back from my buddy who dragged me there to see it.

I have no idea why I wanted to see the new “Producers” film. It’s probably because “Young Frankenstein” is one of my favorites, but I should have just rented the original film (is it any good?)

The original Producers is fantastic.
some of these picks for worst movies are just ridiculous… obviously some of u have chosen to simply put a movie u dont like rather than the worst movie… all the votes for 300? maybe in the sense that u were disappointed relative to ur expectations but really… even if u thought the story was dumb the coolness of the effects and fight scenes are undenaible… no way can this be relegated to worst movie territory
i also really disagree with pan’s lab… but i can at least see why ppl didnt like it
anyway worst movies
Micahel - some gay movie where travolta is an angel straight horrible could not watch the entire thing
Hulk
Daredevil
Both Fantastic Four movies

Many people might disagree with this. But Pan’s Labrynth (sp?) was easily the worst piece of garbage I’ve ever seen. That coming from a guy who likes Owen Wilson movies, and the Rise of Taj.
Pan’s Labrynth was good and the fact that you like the other two things just points out your impeccable taste…I mean come on just listening to Owen Wilson talk is like nails on a chalk board…his movies could be cut in half if they allowed someone who talked at a decent rate to take the role instead of this idiot…I mean the guy couldn’t even get killing himself right(unfortunately for the rest of us)…
Hands down the worst movie I’ve ever seen:
Ghost Rider.
Seriously
I didn’t see it but I could immediately tell from the previews of it that it would suck balls. So could the entire rest of the theater I was in when that preview came on; they all laughed, and not in a “funny ha-ha” way but rather in a “wow, that thing looks like pure suckage” way. Yup.

My Big Fat Greek Wife

my pick: Anything with that fucking goof Will Ferrell. Dude always plays a hysterical shouting dipshit in need of a fucking beating.
Dude, you gotta see Anchorman. He plays the same dipshit role you describe, but damn that movie is funny.
Even better. Try watching it with a 5 year old. Trying to explain why a dog getting kicked off a bridge IS actually funny adds to the experience.
Cemetery Gate
Somebody mentioned a movie being so bad it was kind of interesting and I thought of this movie right off. I actually recommend it. The characters are so overplayed it’s just funny. There’s some good T&A as well.
‘The Fountain’ end of discussion
I haven’t read the whole thread, but the most worthless movie I’ve ever seen was “An American Haunting”, I think. Donald Sutherland was in it. Brainless, disgusting, and offensive.
Offensive? I haven’t seen the movie, and I’ll take your word that it did suck severely, but what exactly does a haunting/horror move have to do to get labeled “offensive??” That’s a new one.

Did they hate on Yu-Gi-Oh in it?

SPOILER ALERT, LIKE YOU GIVE A SHIT*
…No! To answer Damici’s question, a 10-year-old girl gets raped by a possessed priest.
Hmmm.
Well, he was possessed – can’t expect good things from him, I suppose . . . .

They showed the blood on the girl where she lost her innocence, which happened at around the same time that my girlfriend’s family and I lost our last drop of patience with that rental DVD.
