Well that was just over a full month off. Got a little overwhelmed with school. I’m back.
Soft tissue/stretching.

Just did 3 pullups on my door b/c its much too cold to go to the park. Be back in the gym monday.

Super slow negatives while I remember how/get the mobility in traps to keep scapulae retracted.

Slight hip flexor strain running up my front steps.

Unbelievable! Spend 4 weeks basically sedentary and everything goes to shit.

Been doing lots of rolling with my new PVC. Knots are back with a vengeance. I need to not take time off ever again and I need a thicker diameter PVC for my IT band/hips in general.

I will do more soft tissue stuff and see if I cant do some more pull-ups on the old door there before I go to bed.

Been pretty good with my fish oil too. Lets keep that up.

Its starting to come back.

I’ve been trying to eat less meat (ethical concerns) and its hell on the diet. So hungry. Its like a high carb, high fat, low protein diet.

Do more soft tissue you asshole. Your shoulder hurts. Your traps hurt when you flex lats.

Got a thick piece of PVC. Its probably 5 in diameter and it hates my IT bands and they hate it.

Anyway I was surprised to see myself doing pullups. What I had thought was retracting my scapulae hard was actually arching my back. In the next vid I try and tense my abz to keep my back neutral and I felt much more explosive.

Not sure if I’m still keeping my scapulae retracted though. Particularly cause my traps are so tight.
