If anyone here has ever owned a Bloodhound could you please shoot me a PM on what they are like. I want to know as much about them as possible before buying one. From my research so far all the breeders say the same thing, don’t let them off the leash, EVER!. I have all kinds of fields to run it where I live but if I can’t let it run free whats the point. I don’t hunt but I love hounds and owned a German Shorthaired Pointer up untill three years ago when she had to be put down cause she was very ill.
Note…If your dog is having trouble keeping down food and water, check the back yard for little patches of black stuff, it looks like tar actually. If you do, get that dog to a vet pronto. It’s intestines could be blocked or it’s stomach could be flipped over causing blockage. I miss that dog, balled my eyes out that day in the vets office/downer/hi-jack.

Haha! Dude, I have no idea who that is. Just pm’d the dog pic to a MOD and the same random guy popped up. The strange thing is he and I do kind of resemble eachother, though his floors are nicer than mine. Also I don’t wear beenies while shirtless.
