HAHAH! My log is called “the Beautiful Gain” - I’d have nothing to write about if I boycotted.[/quote]

Yes, you can write about a REVOLUTION in football.

You are Latina, we have revolutionary blood!

Power to the People!

“Don’t cry for me Argentina…”

Or just goal line technology!

British commentator said every one wants it except for one person.

Who is it?

The Man.

It’s always The Man.

HA! I am Latina, but I’m also Argentinian. We’re not opposed to shady dealings when it works in our favor.

Mano de Dios. Need I say more?

At any rate, I bet NEXT WC they’ll put some sort of reply rule in effect. This is ridiculous.

It wouldn’t even take instant replay to make that call on Lampard’s goal. A chip in the ball and sensors in the goal would make it an instant decision.

lol

But seriously, that was at least by a foot in.
SO obvious it was a goal.

WHAT!

Game is set up to be a classic (barring that shit decision)

Where is the England defence?

Seriously.

WHAT THE FUCK!

What a blood bath.

English football will never recover from this.

4 X 1 ?!

And this is a YOUNG, inexperienced German team.

Wow.

They have to do something about the officiating, it is having a severe effect on the game and the perception of soccer. The complexion of a 2-2 game compared to a 2-1 game is drastic, and there is no way of telling what the result might have been had the game actually been tied going into halftime.

That being said, Germany looks to be in top shape, and their young guns seem to be firing from all chambers.

England are just shite, Germany easily deserve the win. Germany recovered from England beating them 5 - 1 so im sure the English players will bounce back.

I haven’t seen an english performance like this, ever. Chuck all your men forward, and expect your right/left backs to do all the work whilst 3-4 of them run at you.

We had a bulk of the possession and couldn’t work it into anything meaningless, and they were ruthless with all their chances. Kudos to them, they fucked us hard.

That said, had they gone into half-time at 2-2, I wonder whether we’d have played with a bit more composure and belief … ah well, nevermind.

We just aren’t good enough.

Rooney looks terrible. He should have joined Ronaldinho and just stayed home, because he has provided England with nothing, not even a spark of brilliance.

Maybe he’s to tired from filming all those Nike commercials…

In my opinion he did most of the work on their attack, he passed it and created opportunities when Lampard/gerrard should of been doing that for him.

Lampard/gerrard just fucking shot it aimlessley every time they got it. Terrible.

He can only score if his midfield creates chances for them. Any striker would of looked awful backed up by that piss poor england team.

I agree completely.

This is doing nothing to sell sport to potential young athletes and potential fans.

They are obviously making too much money as it is.
