France may have some of the best players in the world, but they are terrible as a team and horrid to watch. I hope Mexico lights them up in the second half.
GO MEXICO!!!
Brilliant goal!
Great composure from the striker!

Totally! Woke up just in time to catch that.
Fookin’ Frrench! HAHA! I hope they can keep the lead.

Blanco hit an awesome PK.
LOVE MEXICO!!!
2 X O
Great penalty taken…right on the corner!!
When this game is well played is just great to watch.
And bless the Mexican fans who finally gave me a taste of the World cup with the chanting from the crowd - I love the human voice in a football stadium - it’s like an orchestra…it is so stimulating! Very exciting.
Now if we could silence those voodoozelas…

France got screwed! They finally have a reason to send Domenech (their coach) away…
He coaches like shit.
France looked like complete shit. No heart at all.

i wouldn’t count them out just yet. while i still favor argentina in that match, they typically don’t play all that well against mexico.

I though he was already sacked and this world cup was his last “job”.

Guilty conscience.
May Ireland be vindicated.
Team USA needs to put in 3 tomorrow. It has to happen.

Exactly - for the Irish. Hard enough as it is to say this as an Englishman, it is made easier by the fact that we’re talking about the French. Well done Mexico - I cannot thank you enough.
all the french hating on here and on facebook makes me lol.

You have no right to talk, the Canadians have yet to even score a goal in World Cup play. BOOM.
I’ll have some of that cake though.

I was just about to invite you to my birthday party, and then you had to go and do that. Hope you feel good about missing out on Chucky Cheese.

The further the tournament progresses, the more my English cynicism kicks in, and I recognise more clearly that we just aren’t going to win this world cup.

Yeah, I feel it too, and with Spain losing yesterday, it looks like one of the eternal verities of World Cup soccer - that Spain and England always perform like crap - is on track to be fulfilled once more. At least France is on the way out. Au revoir, les bloed!
Good reason to hope for a victory over Algeria tomorrow, at least, and maybe Slovenia will find a way to humble the pride of Westcoast.
