This was a humbling workout to say the least. Core and legs were already pretty worn from the warm-up, definitely something I’ll be adapting to, crazy ass pump. Beltless front squats are something I despise because they make me feel weak, but it was a necessary evil.

My heavy deadlift training is now every other week. This is gonna feel weird. Might go for an AMRAP at 425lbs/193kg next heavy training session.
Also I think lightly strained my left oblique while shitting…

  • A bunch of round on the Heavy bag throwing low kicks and punches. Boxing for a while served me well in being dangerous, never learned how to use my legs or any other weapon at my disposal (Elbows, Knees, Grappling) I’m trying to learn how to use some of those things in a somewhat decent way.

Changed the Building of the berserker a little bit, basically just switched up how I’ll progress. I always want to do Conjugate but I always come to the realization that I’m not quite good with diversity in my main lifts. The more I can practice the Big 4 and hit them hard the faster I build myself. I’ll still find a place for the wenning warm-ups because I love them. Gonna try to force them to work with Linear Periodization,
Gonna work with Layne Nortons PH3. It seems like the perfect Off-season for me.

This has definitely been a terrible week of training. Appointments for doctors/dentist 4 days this week + summer school and work has given me shit all time to do anything except eat and sleep.
I’ve recently been talking with Andrew Triana and I’ve decided to hop on board for coaching. This will be my first time ever having my programming done completely for me, which will be one less stressor on me.

Pretty happy with my deadlifts but holy shit I’ve never felt so good on pull-ups. Also never had any crazy grinders on pull-ups until today, Pull-ups really suck ass and take a while to grind out.

Was pissing about at my buddies house and decided to press his yoke. Moved up easy for a push press double so I decided to strict press it for a double. Turns out it was 170lbs/77kg.
Which is a huge PR for strict presses. On a shit tier warm-up too.
So getting close to a BW strict press I guess lol.
