Workout Protocol/Insulin Through The Day

I have been on the Pre-Anaconda protocol for a while (Haven’t bought it yet), experimented with the diet a bit, and have made an observation.

It seems (In my experience) that having food choices that pretty much don’t influence Insulin at all for pretty much all my meals enhances my workouts with the protocol. Was wondering if anyone else felt something like this, and was wondering whether suppressing insulin release for a duration could enhance it’s release when it is stimulated.

My diet has consisted of beans/legumes, vegetables, fatty acids, and proteins (eggs or meat), relatively low-carb (>30% at 2000kcal from food) and <50g fibre per day.

Protocol itself (for me) consisted of Surge Recovery, whey, and Alpha-GPC. Surge Workout Fuel was used in the beginning, and I switched over to Power Drive later. Never really had the FINiBARs.
