Workout Help from Wal-Mart

I make a point to shop there because of all the above reasons you’ve listed. Except I’ve found that the employees are plenty nice.

Why are you against a company simply for being “non-union”? All the unions I’ve ever seen are good for nothing other than wage-gouging and promoting a heirarchy that champions seniority over experience, ability, or accomplishments.

No you fail, that looks like a skeleton with a dress.

EDIT: Also possibly male.

Relax, sport. This is all in fun. Settle back in your chair, take a long toke, feel the mellowness that is GAL and be one with the world.

[Edit] Are you possibly a male?
No it’s not. Prove me wrong. Until then, I’m going to laugh at 500 pound moo-cows in rainbow spandex.

Lol, their employees aren’t worth shit. How much would you want to pay unskilled, unfriendly, uneducated and generally unqualified employees?
If they were unionized they’d be unskilled, unfriendly, uneducated, unqualified, AND overpaid.

Damn. I wish I had included that in my original post.

Hey everybody lets all poke fun at the fat and ugly people to feel better about ourselves. It’ll be hillarious, we’ll snap photos of them when they aren’t looking and post them online, (which is illegal,) and then we can talk about how we lift weights and score all the time. Unlike these people/ I bet they never exercise
Chill buddy, you need us more than we need you.

Without us, who will give you your smug (yet false) sense of superiority?

Just pickin’ up the slack Lanky, that’s what us non-union people do because we can

Just because you make an assumption doesn’t mean it’s true.
You’re little “insult” isn’t moving you up on the TNatiion poularity ladder.
Unlike you, I like to think about what I am reading on the internet and don’t just midlessly laugh at regular people shopping. I’m done talking to you, I actually have to go to Walmart right now.

I like the funny pictures but I think it should be called Goofballs in Public because you can find crazy people just about anywhere, not just Wal-Mart. I don’t understand the Wal-Mart bashing in general. Don’t you like paying less money for the same product? Plus in my area, Wal-Mart pays more for entry level positions than Safeway or City Market(Kroger brand). Several years ago the union chains negotiated different wage scales for older employees and those hired after a certain date, so the old timers get paid a lot with good benefits and the new employees get paid lower than Wal-Mart employees. You get paid less and pay union dues so you get screwed on both ends. At a Safeway store in my area several long-time employees have been fired without cause so new employees could be hired cheaper, so the old-timers haven’t come out unscathed.

Safeway is also a terrible company in general run by dishonorable morons who respect neither their employees or customers. They may look very progressive with their slick lifestyle stores and socially conscious image but they make money by exploiting their employees and exploiting people’s misguided dislike of Wal-Mart. They certainly don’t run their company responsibly and work to keep prices low without sacrificing service and quality. The only reason I would avoid a Wal-Mart is if it’s in a minority neighborhood in a big city. In my experience they generally look like a bomb went off and have hoards of untended children running around tearing the place down, but that goes for most big stores in those areas. For the record, I have worked for all of these companies over the years and I don’t work for any of them now.

 1. As opposed to the assumptions you’ve made?

 2. Really? Who all did you poll? Or is it some kind of mathematical formula?

 3. Unlike you I like to go to the GAL forum for brain candy, not to get butt hurt over what kind of threads others find humorous.

Well i use to work in a grocery store while i went to college and i disagree with your statement. I made pretty good money, nothing to brag about or anything, had great health benefits, my teeth are happy for all those free visits to the dentist, i learned a lot about meat and fish because i worked in that department. Other employees and I were also very friendly and we always had our regular customers come in just to chat it up.

The majority of people who work at grocery stores now are college students who just want a part time job to pay the bills so i hardly see where you say they are uneducated.

Also my dad has been a union man his whole life working for UPS. He also gets great benefits and tons of paid vacations. I’ve never seen a guy with so much time off. He works his ass off though when he is delivering packages.

I wouldn’t go as far to mock a union unless you have worked for one. If you did, maybe you had a bad experience, i don’t know. My experience was good though.

“…one of our nation’s best companies,” … “exemplifies some of the very best qualities in our country - hard work, the spirit of enterprise, fair dealing and integrity.”

 • Dick Cheney

LOL! I’ll bet ol’ Dick never set foot in a Wal-Mart!

I’ve been union and the experience was miserable. I would never voluntarily join one today.

That’s all.

I don’t know what poularity is, sounds like a French chicken dish.

Anyway, I think fraggle is now more popular with how he showed you up!

I work for a very influential politician and he had some celebrities, and some key religious figures and the captain of your high-school football team dropping by to shoot a commercial and I showed them this thread and they were all quite taken by fraggle’s post and quite indifferent to yours.

LOL, way to completely miss the point. In fact, you’re almost in agreement.

Yeah, only it’s not. It’s legal as long as the pic doesn’t include their face. You can even take a pic of their front as long as the face is recognizable.
So way to go, smartass.
