Lol this thread went in a direction I didn’t intend. Anyone care to chime in on what I originally asked?
At the moment I am doing chest/back on the same day but Im training Back twice a week and chest isnt a priority so volume is fairly low compared to usual.
Im nowhere near as experienced as some of the other people on the site like Sentoguy or Prof X, but for pure muscle building purposes I believe that if you want to get the best results that you can they should be paired on seperate days otherwise performance can be hampered.
There is literature out there saying that antagonistic pairings for bodyparts can be beneficial; fatigue of the antagoinst muscle and also time sparing.
There are usualy good cases from both parties and the only way to find out is to do it youself, if it doesn’t work for you then boot it.
