On the log press you never really got it settled on your chest right. You need to get your elbows more forward.
The log really is an awkward movement if you have never done it.
Don’t feel bad most people can do a lot more with a barbell than a log.
You looked real good on the tire, that last rep was awesome! It was stuck and you kept walking into it to flip it over instead of trying to muscle it up like your supposed to
You did a great job! Now you have a starting point to go onward and upward. This sport really seems to be all about your personal best, if you worry too much about what everyone else is doing, you won’t enjoy it at all. How sore were/are you? What’s next?

Going into this my goal was to not look like a complete tool. I managed that. I wanted to do it for the experience of some type of competition and the pure fun of it. I have to say that I loved watching the other women compete. It’s very inspiring. I also loved the fact that there were almost as many women as men. There are a lot of us out there.
I feel like I’ve been run over by a truck and training yesterday wasn’t my best.
Next, is the London PL open on Sept. 13. I’m much more nervous about that.
Wow. That you finished the event is incredible; I think unless you are competing at the Olympics, finishing in first/second/third shouldn’t mean as much as finishing at all. At least it wouldn’t to me.
The mental toughness is what counts here and you’re a badass for proving that you have that quality. You certainly don’t lack discipline, either.
Great work
Wish I could see the videos…something must be wrong with the servers or you took them down.
