Garret, I thought there had been some mixed argumentation on terminology… otherwise whomever wouldn’t need to use a sector based price linkage.
Perhaps I was mistaken. In any case, nobody has responded to date about the costs of production for gasoline, based on the input price of raw oil.
If they are very closely linked, refineries are not our only problem with respect to pricing problems. I honestly don’t know though… perhaps there is a huge disparity, which would point to refining as a real issue in the price increases.
