Women Shouldn't Lift More Than 3lbs Dumbbells!

oh god they are holding the weights with two fingers like a fucking cup of tea

fuck im so mad now why did i watch that.

good thing that i have a leg workout in 5 minutes

argg i clicked a hotlink with some martha stewart working out.

why the FUCK DO YOU NEED TO LEAN BACK HOLDING A ROPE WHEN YOU SQUAT. DO YOU NOT EVEN HAVE THE MOTOR CONTROL OF A FUCKING BABY?

“now i do some squats, remember not to go too deep. we want to keep all of our hip musculature in a catabolic and unused state, put all the stress on the quads. all of it.”

Oh no! Let me get all indignant about something some trainer said…

Meanwhile, back in reality…

Who cares?!
b/c this is the kind of shit that I have to deal with daily of women not wanting to lift weights because they’ll get bulky. As if it’s so easy to build a lot of muscle to get big. I mean I only eat 1500 calories a day and lift weights, and the muscle just keeps packing on.

She is obviously, to me, tapping into the misconceptions and fears that women have regarding weight training. And, she has managed to come up with something she can market as a system.

From a capitalistic point of view…bravo.

How about:
Bravo, that the government doesn’t stop her.
No bravo for her doing it.

I have always wanted to know how that woman trains. I kind of suspected as much.

There are a lot of women who want to be anorexic tiny and I think that it’s better that they come to a trainer and get that kind of training (I believe that what she does is such a high intensity of aerobics that their calories go through the charts. Then, with little weights adding to body weights and intensity of cardio, there us a tiny muscle ready when the body fat is down) than stop eatting or start throwing up. Honestly, if I trained everyone like I train myself they would quit me. Some people will freak out if they notice a muscle increasing size.

I want to learn what this woman does and when I find someone who wants to look unrealistic, use it.

Different strokes for different folks.

I agree with you. Fuck my life, I agree with you.

Damnit.
I know. Agreeing with me is the worse thing ever.

I hate to be the devil’s advocate here but that workout wasn’t bad. I don’t agree with the “more that 3lbs = bulk” thing but the actually workout she put her through - nothing wrong with that. Plenty of women don’t want to look like fitness models, they want to look like Gweneth.

And that woman has some major endurance if she’s doing that 40 minute cardio routine WITH multiple clients each day.
