Women & Money - Confused

My 1996 plymouth breeze has a transmission problem. It won’t stay in drive or reverse when the engine is cold. Once she gets a going though she runs like a tiger. I really don’t want to spend the money to have the transmission fixed, so my question is do you think the OP is going to marry this chick and then come back to tell us he’s getting a deevorce in 6 months? Think he’ll post pics then?

Im 26, been a homeowner since i was 24 and my girlfirend has lived in my house for the past 5 months. I may be going against the grain here but assuming she understands how a mortgage works she has a right to be irked.

First, if you cant afford the house on your own, you shouldnt have bought it, and if she wasnt living with you and you wouldnt replace her with a rent paying roomate you are collecting income from your girlfriend plain and simple. If you are trying to justify it as her ‘paying her share’ of the mortage, well why should your girlfriend pay down part of your mortgage that you get to keep in equity? You want her to help out, have her pay her share of the utilities, extra groceries, cleaning service, etc, but dont profit off your girlfriend and then expect her not to question it when someone else puts the thought in her head that plenty of other guys wouldnt do the same.

P.S. just because a guy drives a Lambo and claims to make lots of money doesnt mean he is well off or even not buried in unsecure debt. Use your brain here, a lambo new costs close to 300-400k, if you make 1M, assuming its not all from Capital gains you are talking 500-600 after tax. What kind of person spends that much of their take home on a car that you can hardly drive? The kind of “rich person” that sleeps in someone’s guest room in stead of a hotel and dates a woman half his age while being her ‘sugar daddy’. Perception is not reality and dont let other people’s shiny thjngs ever let you question your own self worth. [/quote]

Bunch of bitch-ass cars.

Time to get a second job son!

I wonder how many people drooling at the sight of a Lamborgini have actually tried to drive such a monster.

Its less fun than one might think.

I am not even allowed to drive a friends car which only has about 400 horses under the hood because he says I would blow out his clutch in teh second curve or so.

What is this BS. America is a car culture son. Its beyond fun. I bought a 1970 Ford Custom 500 in high school with the 460 police interceptor big block those engines ran between 365 to 400 horses before pollution control killed all the fun. Best car ever. It could burn rubber shifting into every gear. Added bonus of being a big fucking tank.

(if you blow a clutch in a corner, something is seriously wrong with the car)

I haven’t, but I can imagine it’s not that much fun for most people. Horrible visibility, really rough ride, and just sort of clunky overall. I’d imagine it would take plenty of track time to drive it with any finesse.

Back in college I used to tune suspensions on small open-wheeled race cars. I’d get to drive them here and there too. When you’re pushing the performance envelope, a lot of the “fun” kind of goes away. It’s just a wholly different driving experience.

Our best car did 0-60 in 3.2 seconds, and could sustain over 2Gs cornering. Other than the fact it had tires and an engine, there was really no resemblance between driving that and any “normal” car, no matter how sporty.

FWIW, we did do a photo shoot with Road and Track.

At least we 2k6’ers can spell it as LOSER and not LOOSER.

One is what happens when your team is defeated.

The other is yo mama after a train of black guys goes through her.
