I don’t know about the death penalty after hearing this guy’s story, maybe things have changed since then but look up Kirk Bloodsworth if you got a minute. I got to see him speak at my school last week, very sad story.
Obviously the death penalty has a number of flaws, but I really just want to kill some people. Personally I would pour molten lead down their throats but maybe that is just me.

Shit like this gives you insight into a person’s character. Period. There is no reform for people like this, and if there was, they don’t fucking deserve it anyway. They DESERVE to DIE.
Agreed. The best predictor of a person’s future behavior is their past behavior and if someone is willing to stomp someone to death then they should be executed.
I believe in the death penalty, but sometimes I think the death penalty (lethal injection) is an easy way out. Heck, some low lives out there don’t care about anything and don’t mind if they die by lethal injection. More torturous methods would make criminals think twice about doing crimes or they would kill themselves with their own bullet and save the taxpayers money.
this is definately a sad story my bouncer exp.wasnt nearly as this.that shit had to be tuff to watch.i dont know what the environmet looked like, but if there were people who sat back and watched that shit happen the story even gets sadder.i GUARRANTEE the bar i was at alot smaller than a topless bar,and 4-8 people could get handled easlily.2 of em myself.atleast to the point where it kills em,it had to last for quit a while.
For the first time in history we’re connected like never before. A mere 100 years ago, a local event rarely left the local area. Today, local events can instantaneously become international causes.
The fact is, a time-bomb has been set off for anyone who poses a danger to society. It will be a very short matter of time before ‘thugs’ are extinguished.
Think about it. Someone kills or hurts someone, and immediately chances are he’ll be caught. They will gradually but mercilessly be eradicated out of existence: they will get imprisoned, will be more likely to get seriously hurt or killed by others (rightly so), and less likely to leave offspring - any females who want to fuck them aren’t likely to be the best caregivers.
This is not to be confused with eradicting testosterone. There is a big difference between the very good agression one can get from high testosterone and the senseless & destructive violence you see in gangs. Does a 35 yr old man with a big fat gut, or a skinny punk really have more testosterone than, say Marius Pudzianowski (although, granted he’s tested positive)? Fuck no. Lonnie Lowery perhaps? Charles Poliquin? Nope and nope.
The difference isn’t high levels of Testosterone and lies somewhere else. I say it’s that destructive tendency, which clearly overshadows the individual’s conscience which will become less and less aparent over the next millenia. Testosterone is far to necessary, even in today’s world - but the snippet of genetic code which makes you that prone to destructive violence will fade.

One thing I like about middle eastern countries. They either let the victims family choose the punishment, or they do the same as was done. And they make a public example of it too.

These kinds of things do not happen to the large majority of the worlds populace, just those you are exposed to. The percentage of victims and suspects in relation to the population is small. You get to see just a slice of the big picture. A bad slice, but still just a slice. Step back, way back if you have to and take a look around.
I have to disagree a bit. 3,000 some people died due to 9/11, yet 280,000,000+ were affected by it.
Your comparing steak and apples. Especially given the population of the world is currently sitting at like 6,432,605,627.

I live on Long Island too. It’s funny how I don’t remember hearing about it on the local news. But hey…at least they report the weather every 10 F’n minutes. I guess some people don’t want to be reminded of the savages they live near.
I already felt sick reading this, but hearing that it happened on Long Island made me feel even worse. How comforting to know these gutless assholes were pulling shit like this only a few miles away. Maybe they should take them to the Bronx Zoo and put them in a cage with some lions…
Sorry 911girl…I’ve lost all hope. It’s a sad comment on our society…I guess to be more accurate, I’ve lost hope on our Western Society and our ideals. The world as a whole has some good spots that’s true. But our society is not one of them. (don’t get me wrong I know there are good people out there and I definitely stop and help anyone whenever and where ever I can).
I’m not at all surprized by some of the comments some of you are making, kind of scares me. As an Investigator in a small, well smaller town I’ve witnessed many young men and women pass away as the result of a brutal crime. This happens in Small town USA every day. It’s not the KKK gangs or the like it’s the wanna bee’s out there pissed off because you look wrong at “their” women or bumped into them funny or needing to make a point. Or any other bullshit reason.
You do what you can to better man kind. protect yourself, your family and friends and the guy sitting on the stool next to you watching the tits bounce. Try and make a difference and do the right thing. Thats all we can do, as good human beings. Do whats rights. Keeping a gun with you is not the answer some poor sap bystander is the one that will end up paying for your mistake.

not all people are violent, just the ones who have no fear of GOD and Love for mankind. Sad but true but this is all the devils doing taking advantage of man’s free will and ignorance.

Severe punishments do not work as deterrents to crime. All you would be doing is making the lives of the executioners/torturers worse (that sort of thing will really take a toll on a person).

This is not uncommon at all for people in “nurturing” jobs. It’s too much to handle, and the more caring you are, the harder it is to deal with.
Around my way there a couple of “big time” gangsters. their names carried weight, they were involved with a large number of murders around my way.
now whats happened. a hit guy (19) has rolled over on them, and has been implicated him in 4 other murders, and a ton of other evidence has come to the fore on the back of that.
Sooner or later, they get their comupance, and are imprisoned. shame, he has had kids though. guilty by genetic association.

Thats why we build machines to torture them. Put em in a chair, then walk out of the room. Robots come in and do all the dirty work and clean the mess when they are done. The person vanishes after that, chopped up and fed to sharks. This is only if we can’t get the sharks with lazerbeams to do the torturing.
Ok here is another disgusting thing for you all. In 1993 at a shopping mall in Liverpool NY two 10 year old boys grabbed a 3 year old kid from a store while his mother was turned. They led the boy outside and around the back of the mall, stopping to punch him every now and again for crying for his mom. They led the boy a few hundred feet down some railroad tracks where they tortured him. They beat him, threw rocks at him and shoved batteries in his butt. After a while the 3 year old boy died, they then left his dead body on the tracks so a train would come by and run his body over. The parents of the boy were not allowed to view the body for identification purposes because of the condition he was in and the effect it would have had on the parents.
The two boys who perpetrated this, are being released now and both given new identities, relocated and clean pure records. They get to start a brand new life after serving not even half of thier sentance. What the hell is wrong with this society we have built for ourselves.

I wasn’t talking about the whole world. Some countries are neutral and don’t give a rat’s ass about what happened to us. Some places are probably happy what happened to us.
Assaults happen everyday. Road rage happens every day and in every state. Terrorist attacks don’t happen everyday, yet 9/11 affected all of us. These type of assaults that this thread is about do affect all of us. It can happen anytime, anywhere. And the criminals don’t get the time they deserve. So thats why they are repeated offenders because they are back on the street too soon.
On a side note, my ex gf’s dad got 4 years in prison for killing his wife when he was drunk. 4 years only!!

If you need to fear God to do the right thing, then you are just as weak as those who do wrong without fearing God. In fact, you’re just as bad as they are, but more cowardly. I have no fear of this mythical God and I hate mankind, yet still I do what I believe is right. The idea that you have to believe in God to be moral doesn’t stand up to the scrutiny of a five year old, and is an insult to every rational non-theist in the world.
