Last Thursday a patron was killed and I was there to witness him breathe his last.
He was assaulted for absolutely nothing by around 4-8 guys and was stomped to death.
By the time I got to the scene the assailants had fled and this man was in a pool of blood and his friend was kneeling next to him.
I couldnt believe these guys killed him for bumping into someone.
Heres a 24 yr old hanging out at a strip joint having some beers and he ends up getting killed by some fucking lowlife gang members for nothing.
His face was beaten in so bad I almost threw up, I think something that looked like thick bubbling cartilage/blood concoction was oozing out of his nose and as I dialed 911 he stopped breathing, his friend started going nuts, I couldnt beleive I just witnessed the most despicable act of violence Ive ever seen in five years of security work.
We’re a very violent species.
Ive seem to have lost hope once again.
I still wonder how gangs and hate groups like the KKK can form together and have meetings without getting arrested. Its not until something like this happens that they get in trouble. By that time, its too late. These stupid types of groups are just a time bomb waiting to go off.
Also, this is another reason to carry a gun. This guy would still be alive if he had a gun.

I often carry a gun, but it will do no good if you are taken by surprise.
The lesson is when you go out stay sober and aware. Swallow your pride and avoid fights. You may be tough but are you tougher than 8 guys?
Please tell me they had security cameras or something so these people are caught.
I had a friend who worked at a really dangerous bar in Boston. While getting off shift she saw someone get beaten/possibly murdered over something pointless. Very sick, very in favor of the death penalty when I here about stuff like this.

So true. Its a good thing I don’t drink and I don’t try and start shiot.
I don’t know about the death penalty after hearing this guy’s story, maybe things have changed since then but look up Kirk Bloodsworth if you got a minute. I got to see him speak at my school last week, very sad story.
This is easier said than done and advice I can stand to remind myself of right now so here goes-
Don’t lose hope in mankind, remind yourself of your perspective because of where you are at this time in your life. These kinds of things do not happen to the large majority of the worlds populace, just those you are exposed to. The percentage of victims and suspects in relation to the population is small. You get to see just a slice of the big picture. A bad slice, but still just a slice. Step back, way back if you have to and take a look around.
I get to deal with people having this happen to them for 8 hours a day. It can wear on you.
I say kill the fuckers. Castrate them and let’em bleed to death. More than they deserve. The death penalty should actually be used. Not this sentence them to death and then feed and house them for the next twenty years. A nice .45 might have saved this guys life, too bad it’s illegal to carry them into bars. He might have been surprised but usually it just takes the sight of a gun to scare thugs off - most are cowards looking for an easy victim. Hell a gunshot might have brought help.
“Better to be judged by twelve than carried by six.”
May I suggest moving to a smaller town. Maybe you could change jobs or improve your scenary. Sounds like this kind of work isn’t what you hoped it for.
It is unfortunate that one must frequent a strip bar and even more unfortunate for being beat to death for being at one. This kind of shit happens every weekend in Shreveport, LA. Guess where I’m not hanging out on the weekends.
I wouldn’t say a strip joint is a classy place to hang-out. Knowing that I would be prepared to deal with whatever factors that would present themselves. If this means toating a 9mm with a concealed hand-gun license than so beit. One does not venture into the lion’s den without bringing a whip!
I’m sorry to hear what you had to witness, but I agree with 911 girl. Your just a piece of the puzzle. Your sole purpose in life is to see which piece of the puzzle you are and where you fit in.
Three of the suspected six have been arrested.
It was all on camera and it looks brutal to say the least.
This happened on Long Island at BLUSH Gentlemans club, In Commack.
I never ‘hoped’ for anything when I took this job man, what are you fucking nuts? I despised having to ever mention I was a ‘bouncer at a strip joint’. Its lowlife work, what can I say.
And what bothered me about the incident wasnt the death. It was the reasons. This man wasnt a rival gang member, he wasnt talking shit and he was down from one punch AFTER which an almost two minute long stomping occured in which they turned him to jello.
And dont suggest anything, I didnt ask for advice or help. Move to a small town, I mean do you even fucking know me? Youre gonna come on a message board and try to act like you’ve deciphered whats going on behind the written words and youre gonna try to tell me about how much ‘badder’ some other place is. Shit man, Im not a hostile guy, but you just pissed me the fuck off.

This just made my day. The problem with people who are against the death penalty is that the vast majority of them have either lived sheltered lives of privilege, or have lived in places where they’ve never been exposed to this sort of shit. At least, I think that must be their problem. It’s easy to say “we’re all human beings,” and “everybody deserves a second chance” when the worst violence you’ve ever witnessed was road rage, and the most dangerous person you’ve known was the town drunk.
Shit like this gives you insight into a person’s character. Period. There is no reform for people like this, and if there was, they don’t fucking deserve it anyway. They DESERVE to DIE.

I’m sorry, it seemed you couldn’t believe what happened. That’s what I got from your thread.
You can’t believe that some gang-members would beat in some stranger’s head? They are gang-members! Low-life trash who cannot break out of their shell of self-pitty and down-with-the-man or hate mentality. They’re happy with running around and causing mayhem. That’s their job. What’s your job?
You want to make a difference? Why the post? If you’re tired of this shit than why don’t you do something about it.
Maybe you could dawn a cape and some tites and masquerade around town as the masked avenger! It’s what I do to blow off some steam after a liter of vodka and tonic. You get in a great 40-60 minutes cardio routine and can even get in 100 meter sprints on occasion.

Word. But I wouldn’t expect them all to get the death penalty, if any of them do.
