Took 2 minutes rest after first set, instead of 1 to try and help get more volume in on the half sets. Worked. Still kept them to 1 minute. And got the extra set. Next time, I’ll either look to increase density, do more reps, or add more weight. I’ll wait til it comes around. In the commy gym next time, so might increase to 27.5kg to make it easier equipment wise.

No help here, strict 1 minute rests throughout. Had the last set at proper rep 10. Perfect weight I guess ha. Same again here, I’ll either increase density (no!), Increase reps, add another set, and add load. Thinking another 1kg.
Good session overall. Squat triple was ok, not as strong as three days ago, but I think the early morning took more than rep out of me. Singles were ok, the third one was Hard, hence no further sets. Happy overall. Bench was great, I guess the squats woke me up. Could have taken a 6th single to complete the volume extension, but save it for next time as I’m in no rush - 3 sessions with that wright will be good for later.
Bank it. Another decent session. Squats were a bit off technique wise on the first set. Fixed on the first half set and kept it up. Think maybe was upper back tightness. Still easy.
Singles felt worse every set. Lol. At the time, I was pretty pissed off and annoyed, so walked off into the bush(forest) with the doggos for an hour. Lol.
Was worth it. But didn’t come back to the garage.
Today, went straight into bench before I was feeling weird everywhere…
Stopped at 60kg. Deadset something carrying over from that whatever it was Wednesday. Best mate (he’s a doc) reckons I have a virus - has seen a few people lately with similar stores. Couple days he reckons. No other symptoms now aside from inflamed joints everywhere and some fatigue.
Eh. I’ll come back in the morning and see how I feel.
Still got in my curls which were okay. But yeah now i just feel worse haha. Hopefully this is nothing beyond what it appears…
Snuck in a bench session this morning before I take the family out for.the day.
Felt A lot better waking up after 9 solid hours.

Very good. Very solid. Very strong. Coming back nicely. Used Long pauses again on the final rep of each half set, in my head what was 3-4 seconds paused at the bottom without allowing the bar to sink, so a pause right at the T-shirt. Feels like it’s making quite a difference. Usually does.

Also got in a squat warmup for the hips, having not squatted yesterday they were tightening up a bit.
Inflammation seems to have gone away at this point, also the fatigue…weird diseases ya pick up when your wife is a Paediatric Clinical Nurse lol.

Did a lot of squat warmup stuff. Lots of reps with the empty bar, and then the SSB bar. Nothing felt good. Too heavy too often in the last 1.5 weeks haha. I did learn something though, that it only took what? 5 sessions to squat the best 140x3 I’d done in a very long time. That was a peak as it turns out, felt weaker every single day since.
Something in that. Keep it easy man…then probably just have one week of fun. Then back to easy. With squats anyway.
