Was wrong about not being sore
Just couldn’t feel it under zero load
But it went away quickly.

63 seconds! And could have kept going no trouble. Buts let’s titrate that time up over an appropriate amount of time…Ill add weight and start over at 120 seconds. I don’t know that it was a weakness, or just simply not practiced, hence the ability to go longer quickly (that’s what she May have said at one point).
Squats felt good. I foresee the “easy” weight getting heavier consistently for a little while. As long as I don’t rush it. Definitely comfortable adding more weight though. Press, chins and RDL all rudimentary and will remain unchanged for the next couple goes at least, as planned.
Could feel the sandbag carries and swings during the warmups. Haha.
6 singles tomorrow. Looking forward to that actually. Will be starting at the “easy” weights and moving up from there.
Good session. Daughter decided to join in late on the planks. I think she did 10 seconds before realizing it’s an horrible thing. She then did pushups instead, and to my proud amazement, pushed out two Very clean reps before the Room was cut. Haha. Better reps than I’ve seen most everywhere. Must have a dad who lifts n stuff. Being 9, and not into sports (I tried ), I thought being able to do them clean for ANY reps was great.
She Does like lifting thankfully and isnt a bad little squatter and presser. Easily reps her 8kg training bar for 5 reps on the press. Uses 10kg for squats without issue - but we are still teaching the proper brace so we don’t add any weights just yet - plus she has my natural build, all legs.
Just fun practice. She can ALMOST do a full chin up too, weighing 31kg…that’s not bad at all. Her friend next door does Gymnastics, is a year older, but is 2 inches shorter and 7kg lighter…can do 8 chins. Finally been able to explain to my daughter that she isn’t particularly stronger than her, but alot lighter with shorter limbs(super scrawny) and how that plays a part in what they can both do. My daughter is a much stronger presser and squatter for example. So now she’s hell bent on catching her on the chins…knowing it will be more impressive hahaha.
