Wisey's Training Log - StrongEveryDay

12 minute brisk walk upon rising. Bringing back this old habit.

Get back to walking after every meal too is the goal.

Very good again. Everything moving along quite well. Recovery is still great. And bodyweight is back down 105.5kg/232.5lbs and trending down as planned. So everything is back on track. Less than 8 months until my 40th, and want some of Abdominal definition by then. Told myself I wouldn’t be soft at 40. So it’s gotta happen. :person_shrugging:

These Hatfield Bulgarians are getting silly. I’m making it look alot easier than it really…

But it LIGHTS ME UP man. Obliques and Abs pretty warm after it all, upper back warm, legs on fire.

Pretty happy that progress is still coming with One set of 8-9. This week I added 7.5g to the bar…which is a big jump, but my mate was using that load, and I can’t be outdone on home turf. Its his main leg movement currently, does them every session. Loves them. Maniac.

I’m not sure where we are headed with these. Every session is a PB. Keep going I guess.

Big weekend was big.

7 tonnes of soil in the end. Lawns scalped. Levelled.

11500 steps during the job. Was also hot as hell. Haha.

Took 5 hours.

Then jumped in the pool.

Sunday was our wedding anniversary. Enjoy a Great lunch at a fine dining joint we hadn’t been to before in the city. Really enjoyed it. My parents spent the day with my daughter so my wife and myself basically stayed out all day. Walks. Shopping. Food. Was awesome and overdue.

Then jumped in the pool again.

And today…

Squat:

20x5
60x3
80x1
100x1

117.5x6
117.5x6
117.5x6

Bench:

20x15
60x6
80x3
100x1

107.5x6
112.5x6
110x6

Bent row:

70x8
90x5

105x8 pb.
97.5x9

Lower back was a little fatigued still from the weekend’s frivolities. Didn’t feel too bad on squat. And no effect on bench…but it caught up with me on rows. Still made the minimum mark though so I’m happy. And again it’s another PB.

Squats I never felt i owned any particular set, so left the weight again at the days minimum loading. All three sessions of 6’s so far this block have gone the same. Not a bad thing at all really.

Good day.
