Dragged the sandbag around yesterday arvo. Carried it. Shouldered it. Lots of different shit for about half hour.
Yard work today in the sun. The jumped in the pool…that was cold. But good.
Didn’t lift over the weekend, never found time with a heap on Saturday going on. Wanted to do the conditioning stuff yesterday which took up the spare time I had…and this arvo I was Cactus.
Looking forward to clanging and banging tomorrow though.
Feel a bit better today. Not 100% though. Still seem to have some inflammation going on…but was able to fight through for some squats and split squats. Hopefully it’s all gone tomorrow…quitting booze I think until Xmas. Never agrees with me anymore, and I like training 69x better, though it was a great night with the lads haha.
I mean it was the booze or something I’ve eaten over the weekend, smashed a fair amount of good fun food, which I hardly really eat these days. Who knows. Fuck it all off. Get that reset.
Body feeling better again this morning.
30 minute walk in the rain…so much rain for this time of year. Nice temperature…but raining. Dog wasn’t impressed.
Actually woke up with a small head cold, thinking I got that from the father in-law who just wont stay away from everyone lol. The walk has seemingly made it almost dissapear it seems so far. Not interested in getting sick again this year, so I’ll be ignoring that. Been averaging 9 hours sleep lately so should be fine.
It actually felt quite nice on the muscles. I tend to get Super Perfect technique wise when it feels this way. Ha. I mean on camera it looks the same, but I think I get a bit cautious with the reps. The lowering phase feels amazing haha.
Yesterday was a bit all over the shop. Did some technique stuff with a mate, and some random accessories for blood flow. Then a battle rope session to death, which really didn’t take that long.

I just made a comment on the video about the technical errors that I see after watching later (which I always do).
I’ll put the straps away next session and see if I can’t generate more tightness…or rather, be less lazy. As I think they negatively affect my process here.
