Probably an increase in load over last week mate. 205-210 perhaps. Rep it out. 6 minimum is the goal. Looking forward to it.
104.4kg this morning. Running 7 day average down to 105.5 and dropping fairly quickly to be honest. Day 8 so the speed is still expected I guess. I’d like the 7 day running average to be sub 104kg in about 3 weeks time. Cutting until we go away in September for 12 days. Let’s see if we can push it hard enough to measure 100kg atleast once ha.
Be nice to about 97kg come December.
Thats the second time I’ve weighed under 104.5 in three days. Incendentally it’s the equal lightest I’ve weighed in like 3 years. Going well. Been easy as this time.
Are you still going mostly low or no carb ?

Those pulls looked pretty smooth mate. Couple of big pauses for breath for the last 2.
I was sucking them in! Haha. Should have kept going after the fourth rep instead of stopping to reset. Made it harder!

Incendentally, the close grip work was a PB. Only meant to increase load by 1kg…not 3kg. Haha. Still got there. 97kg next time.
Never trained this variation this high before in truth. Usually high rep stuff.
Bent over rows still a little light. No rush on those, getting epic upper back pumps! Got same reps as last time…gotta love CNS adaptations on fresh exercises.

Happy guy today. Despite still having this cold. Which seems WAY less brutal than the flu I had a month ago thankfully.
Warmed up with a bunch of leg curls, then tibia raises, two types of calf raises and some ankle/calf stretching.

20x10 only. The hams were pretty toasty already from squats being a posterior dominant lifter. Think I’ll do these as the leg accessory on deadlift day.

Squatz. A little rusty. But decent technically.
Only way is (back) up. Haha. I won’t be doing any back squatting with a straight bar for the foreseeable future as I feel like the technical challenges outweigh the benefits.
If I decide to compete again at some in a 3 lift, I’ll just make the switch in the final approach to the comp.

Nerve impingement in my left leg flared up a bit, so didn’t deadlift yesty.
Hoping to today. Still feel a little something but I think should be able to warm it up today and get liftin’.
It’s a bastard of a thing. Went too hard on the squats first session back hahah. But when you feel good…you hit that shit!
Couldn’t deadlift over 110kg today before it flared up. but it’s close. To be fair it’s usually 4-5 days. Haha.
